I believe they may be still understaffed in terms of drivers, since I have had some issues getting the times I need for trips. Luckily, it hasn't happened that often, but it is an issue when I'm trying to get to a single day event. That being said, the drivers are excellent. They take great care checking and double checking that you are secure in your travel. They also check on riders while on the road to ensure they're getting a smooth ride. They do offer exceptional care for their riders. Overall, I'm much happier with the service I'm getting.

I have a typical old Pittsburgh house with 32 steps to my house and 15 steps to my second floor. Guardian Angel Ambulance Service was the only service to accommodate me. I witnessed a patient going off on the nurses and they never lost their cool with her. The insurance person and nurses listened to her concerns and kindly responded to her giving her possible options to resolve it. She definitely didn't deserve their kindness because she was hateful to them. They were nothing but wonderful. Everyone from check into prep to surgery and checkout were really nice to me. They calmly and clearly explained everything to me and regularly checked on me to see if I was ok. No one likes having a colonoscopy but they made it as painless as possible. I really appreciated it. When I hear of anyone who needs one, I send them to them. I live in north hills and drove down there because I was told how good they are. I will be back in five years for my next one.

I would not recommend getting a colonoscopy here. They only seem to care about getting as many in…read moreas possible to make as much money as possible. It's got to affect their quality. You don't meet with a doctor beforehand because they don't even know who is going to do the procedure up until the last minute. They definitely treat you more like a number than a patient. And they make no accommodations for a veteran living far from home.

He has a guy named mike on his staff I felt showed zero respect/courtesy/empathy for the practice's patients . I felt he was snobby and ignorant. For all I know he had a bad day and is normally a good guy. But the past 4 experiences made me feel as upmc should no longer purchase immunity from any political figures . Upmc should not be tax exempt, how can a corporation cause so many issues with strong arming it's rival hospitals . The only ones hurt are the patients who were displaced . Sad. But dr margolis came clutch for me twice so far.

My husband was in the rehab section of Paramount of South Hills. He received excellent,…read moreindividualized care. Every member of his team treated him with respect and compassion. The entire staff at Paramount were pleasant and helpful and you can tell that they all enjoy their work and that they truly care about the patients. The nursing staff were excellent! While I hated for my husband to have to be there, the obvious dedication and compassion of the staff made me feel comfortable leaving him in their capable hands. My husband received speech therapy, and, in the short time that he was there, we noticed definite improvements in his speech and comprehension. Occupational therapy and physical therapy also were great--both in the services provided and the advice as to how to adapt his environment and his activities. The facility is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and the dining and lounge areas were comfortable and inviting. My husband enjoyed a variety of foods and was provided with alternatives if he did not want what was on the standard menu. I'm hoping he won't expect that same variety and flexibility now that he's home. If you are in need of a rehabilitation facility, I highly recommend Paramount South Hills.
