You can put your car up by the restaurant side, or park in the Mosby Woods neighborhood. It's open year round.

Jokes aside, I was really impressed with this neighborhood park. It's super toddler friendly so my two year old who is usually afraid of big playground equipment had a great time running up and down the ramps and slides. They have a little musical instrument zoo and a little red car that all the kids were lined up to jump in and out of. It was pure toddler bliss. My middle aged knees appreciated the squishy rubber gravel and there is a Freddy's next door if you want to get frozen custard afterwards.

My children are especially fond of all of the fresh mulch to play with (eye roll). There is a covered picnic area which would make this spot perfect for birthday parties as well as lots of green grass to run around. I find it a little bit more quiet and more well-maintained than nearby Van Dyck Park which can get kind of crazy if you have tiny littles like me.

There is a small area that you can park at if you are driving there, but I think most of its visitors are from the surrounding neighborhood. The park is buried in the woods. It has a lot of shade. They do not have picnic shelters but there are picnic tables with grills placed around the park. The park spans about 5 acres and is has a network of paved trails that feeds into the W&OD Trail and the surrounding neighborhoods. I was fortunate to see a bunch of deer during my visit. I was about 100 to 200 feet from them. It was a nice treat. You may also see a few squirrels here as well The park's playground has some decent equipment. The area is lined with wood chips and has an area with rubber matting. As every playground should, you will find some benches for parents to sit and take a load off while their littles play. There is a medium sized jungle gym with monkey bars, and slides. A small jungle gym with stairs and net climber, and slides. There are also rocking animals, a small play house, a spin pole, a bank of toddler swings, and a bank of traditional swings. I like this park for some reason, but I think that it is more of a neighborhood park than a destination park. I was the only one there during my visit and it was a nice weekend day. This is definitely an option if you are looking for a nice little park to duck off to and bring the littles to play for a bit. If you are lucky, you may see some wild life too.

I don't particularly find that appropriate at a park, especially one with kids and others going here. Yet that does happen, and I hope our public safety folks will charge all found here.
