Details: Thanks Helen she fixed my hair and gave me what it needed to get back to a healthier place. Would come back and my mom loved her cut as well. Helen took 10 years off my mom's age - hah! Decided to try out Levo after coming back for the summer to visit family. My hair was pretty dead from previous dyeing, and I wanted my split ends cut off after trying to grow out my hair. I made the disasterous decision to start chopping it off myself ...I stopped half way a few weeks back and decided I needed to get it professionally cut. Now I have hair again with a shape and it looks better than I thought it could! It's also less dense now and lightened in weight for the summer. My only requests was to cut off the split ends and leave it long enough to tie up. Expectations exceeded! Thanks again Helen for having the patience and the skills to deal with the 2 diff hair lengths She advised to wait a bit before I dye some more. Wish there was a 10-star rating option... Where do I start? I absolutely LOVE Helen and her husband. I have finally found a place that checks off everything I'm looking for in a haircut location. Close to home, price you can't beat (Honestly if you asked me, they don't charge their fair worth) so I always tip 100%. I am more than happy walking out with the quality cut she gives and still only spending $30. Helen always gives me the cleanest fade I get compliments for days. Highly recommend giving Helen, or at least Levo a shot. If you don't like getting stuck in a waiting game pickle do them a favor and make an appointment on their website, super easy! read more

Let's be honest -- my hairline and I have been at war for a while now. Most barbers just surrender and give me the standard bald fade, like it's the only option for a guy with a receding line. Not Helen. She looked at my "challenging terrain" and actually came up with a cut that blended everything in a way that looked sharp, intentional, and not like I lost a bet. this review is long overdue. Had a great experience with teens' cuts so I dropped by to get my own hair cut a few months ago. She gave me a long layered cut that washes & wears well without a lot of effort which is great since I don't have a ton of time to spend on my hair. Best dang haircut I've had in like 20 years. I have one of the simplest hairstyles in the world, just a military type cut with .5 side and 1.5 top. The only thing hairstylists tend to struggle with is lining up the front because my hairline is a bit tricky. All I want from a place is a good price and it to not take forever (I want to get in and out fast!). As for price, I spent like 35-40 bucks after tip at a nearby Supercuts. Great clips charges 22-25. This place charges 15 dollars for a base cut. Leaves more room for tips! Helen cut my my simple hair in about 4 minutes and took another 3-4 minutes just to make sure I was lined up neatly, which I wasn't asking for but she went out of her way to make it perfect. Even busted out the ole barbers blade. Place reminded me of how things used to be when they were affordable and fast! Thanks Helen! read more

I booked an appointment with one of their stylist in the morning and got an appointment for 5:30 PM. I drive all the way there and arrive a few minutes before time for my appointment andthe person in the front desk says that there are more than two people ahead of me and the wait time is long. I could clearly tell that he was not interested in my business given they close at 6 PM and there were several people waiting. Please value our time and the next time, dont offer appointments if you cannot honor them!! read more

Beautiful layer hair cut! My daughter loves her hair cut at Image Cuts on Landess (near Wells Fargo). Our first time there but Hannah has been cutting hair there for over 15yrs and her years of experience shows. Cutting techniques was very skilled, thorough and efficient. She knows what she's doing and took the appropriate amount of time and care. Layers in front were even and distinctive, blended well front and back, not choppy or blunt. I have been looking to support a local small business in my community for my hair needs. I got a perm Monday 10/11. From my previous experience it was not to my expectation, it was a spiral outcome and priced as a perm at a Campbell Salon. I was very disappointed spending so much money and not receive what I requested. My family goes to see Hannah for haircuts, color, and pedicures (Julie). My mother in law highly recommended Hannah (owner). I definitely wish I spend the money here than Campbell salon. She's reasonable, works with you on achieving the style you are desiring. Tom her other stylist is also very warm, entertaining and good at cutting male/female hair. If you would like to receive excellent service, fair price and not looking for an expensive bougie atmosphere , give them an opportunity. I've been getting my haircut by Tom at image cuts on and off for the last 10 years. I stopped for a while because I had moved to Castro Valley. Obviously, it's hard to find a good person who cuts your hair. I'll make the trip down to Tom in Milpitas because it's worth the drive. Best parts of Tom's hair cuts: 1. Update! After coming here for awhile now I can definitely say Lanna is the best at what she does. We have been through some big changes with my look, when I first came I had long natural brown hair and wanted a perm. I was terrified, but determined, and she exceeded all expectations. That perm lasted nearly a YEAR. (She is great at cutting straight or curly hair so I always got a good trim.) Fast forward and I'm ready to go back to my straight hair. She expertly relaxes my hair with NO DAMAGE, my hair was just as soft and frizz free as ever. Seriously amazing given the chemicals that go into a hair relaxer but she knows her stuff. Fast forward again and I'm ready for a BIG CHOP. Gotta reinvent my look, but I'm nervous because I'm thinking short hair might look bad since I'm plus size. Lanna takes good care of me and gives me a cut that flatters my face and it is SO EASY TO STYLE!! Everyone loves it, especially me. Fast forward to yesterday and I'm feeling bold. No bleach has touched my hair in 8 years (after a very bad experience) but I know my head is in good hands with Lanna. She doesn't take short cuts and does my highlights meticulously by hand. Not with the rubber cap that would be so much easier, especially since my hair is really short. Nope she does things the right way and doesn't rush. She bought a special violet dye for me after doing some research and making sure it would work for me. She takes such good care and puts so much thought into what she does, and it shows. I feel so beautiful, so vibrant and bold with my new purple hair and I cannot reccomend Lanna enough. Whether you need a simple trim, or something bolder, Lanna is the person you want to see. I came here with my sister to get some hair things done, as well as our nails and toes. No special reason--just felt like doing it. We arrived around 11:30 in the afternoon. I was up first--I got my hair washed (felt great! went by too quickly). And then I got my hair trimmed. This is where it went a little downhill. I asked my hair dresser to just cut off about an inch from all the dead ends, but before I knew it, I had layers. Well. Too late. The trim and hair wash took a total of an hour and 15 minutes which I think is quite long for just a haircut. Luckily, my hands and nails came out perfectly. I got my nails done by a woman named Trang, and she was really nice. She was gentle with my hands, listened to what color I want, and even added some glitter to make it more fun. When she did my toenails, I let her choose the color and she chose a bright neon coral which actually matched my sweater, which I thought was funny! My sister ended up getting her nails done in a "watermelon" theme and they turned out delectably adorable. Trang doesn't usually do super complex nail designs, but the watermelon was simple enough and it turned out pretty cute. Overall, the four stars is for the nail part. If I were simply reviewing the hair, it might be a 3. But definitely come check this place out if you have time. read more

I am so glad I came here! My hairstylist was Lannah and she was amazing. I showed her the pic that I wanted and she told me ok, it may not look exactly like it because the pic I showed her had much more hair than I did. But she said she could get it close to what I wanted. She made the recommendation for my bangs length and was honest about her opinion about how it would look. Anyway, I am more than satisfied with my new cut even if it was just a trim and layers. She made it a point to make my husband and I feel comfortable.
