It was a about 15 euros to get in but as most clubs in Rome do, it covered a drink which was nice. I would say the place didn't get packed until about 12:45am/1am, which is fine because it doesn't open until 12am anyways. The music was so live and not techno which was good, if you want some rap/hiphop/twerk music, Thursday nights is your time to shine here at Akab...and don't miss the dancers....P.S. they smoke inside so expect to go home smelling like an ashtray.

This guy had homemade painted gages, grinders, and little knick-knacks that were gorgeous! Even though from the outside it looks pretty small (we had walked past it numerous times without even noticing it was there), it's got two dance floors inside and the space feels pretty open. For me at least, I liked the fact it seemed to be full of people who frequented it on a regular basis rather than just the drunk study abroad's I was usually around. You had to purchase that membership card to go in there, so I'm sure that was part of it. The decorations were also ah-maz-ing. A few of the Italian reviews I read said the place was bland, but I think they've changed the ambience since then (actually, I think there is an artist that creates the designs). The walls have been splattered with color, and there are drapes along the ceilings in different patterns. Most venues I am used to are all about flashing lights and being very "in your face" with decor, but something about the decorations at Big Bang is a little more calm and beautiful. Everything really flows with each other visually. Overall, I really enjoyed my night there. It highly depends on the night and the music, but I definitely suggest checking it out.

First, my fiancé was in violation. then, security claimed it was my outfit that was the issue. As a black american, i understand micro aggression. Yooo!!! This place…read morewas live on a Thursday night in November! I came here for my last night in Rome and I had such a blast. Let me first disclose that I was unaware that IDs are not checked at the front door for clubs in Rome, so you will find a lot of young kinds in the club. It was pretty sad (and scary) to see how drunk they got. The lines were not crazy during the time we came, I am guessing because it was 12 AM-1 AM. What's nice is that this place doesn't close till 4 AM. It was packed as hell once we walked in. The music was off the chain, playing all types of Rap and Hip-Hop music. They seem to have various VIP lounges around the club. Drinks are cheap but not too stiff. I would encourage you to leave your valuables outside of the club and pay attention to pick-pocketers. Overall, if you are looking for a good nightclub to come and dance, then don't sleep on this place! You will have a good time here. I will come back here when I am back in Rome. This is known as one of the best clubs in Rome. A must if you are looking for some nightlife.

They only dance topless for the private dance but if the girl likes you she will do more. It's similar to strip clubs in the us they have a small stage where the girls dance fully nude. Wasn't that bad, but compared to what I'm used to in Mexico, I'm very spoiled. The girls I met were very fun. This club was highly recommended by the locals I talked to but It is expensive. I spent a little over 300 euros. Another thing to note is that this place doesn't have any signs in front so you won't even be able to tell if you're at the right spot. But the Uber's and taxis all know where it is. Just make sure your Uber or taxi don't leave till the club buzzes you in. Hope you have a good time!

Maybe it's bad - you're scared of new (not untimidating) things and speaking Italian for your drink order is out of the question. But if you're feeling adventurous, this is the place to go. Anyway, I really enjoyed this place. It's an indoor/outdoor bar with ample outdoor seating for you smokers. The music is almost all Italian, and maybe a little bit (~6 songs) of American EDM and hip hop. Dancers were nothing special, though they gave them microphones and they kept yelling random lyrics and other phrases in Italian which is now my least favorite thing besides getting splinters under my finger nails. I went on a Friday night and got there about 1:30 AM. There was no line. Cover was 10€ which included a drink, and drinks were pretty reasonable after that. It was never overly crowded which was nice, but makes me think there might be somewhere better I'm missing out on. Solid club, give it a try.
