YASSSSS, this place was so litty. We honestly didn't even know it existed because all of the blogs I went on for club advice didn't even mention Art Cafe! We came here after being disappointed with the music at Shari Vari to be pleasantly surprised! RAP AND HIP HOP MUSIC! This was on a Friday night and the club was going UP. When you get here, the staff is pretty rude and disorganized but once you get inside its like another world. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because of the energy inside. The music and scene was great but I felt a very aggressive testosterone fueled presence which is pretty creepy to a girl. Aside from that, awesome selection of tunes. Also, their cover charges cover the drinks.

Anywhere on the globe, people do three things pretty much the same: clubbing, sex, & eating. Yes,…read morethere are variations of these (and we could argue for hours on the issues) BUT the basics are the same. This club reminded me of ones back in the city. Except you can smoke in this one *big frowny face* Drink prices on par with home, music was techno-based, & the crowd you have to be aggressive with when moving around. Yet, I felt Italians were definitely not as weird or nearly as rude about space & movement like Americans are. Makes for a much more fun & relaxed atmosphere.

Like the other reviewers stated, admission is subjective. We were asked if we were on a list, and though we said no, they still let us in. Perhaps there's power in numbers? There were 5 of us (all girls). The music was techno which is not my scene, but the experience was still a good one. We danced like idiots, took lots of selfies (to the point where others joined in), and chatted up lots of locals. One thing to note, like most other european bars, they do allow smoking indoors - so if you're sensitive to smoke, this is not your spot. Otherwise, check it out, don't expect a lot (no music other than techno was played during our visit), and be prepared for a scene different from your usual.

On Friday nights, Qube is called Muccassassina: the biggest advertised gay party of the week. If…read moreyou wanna see Rome's nightlife, this is THE place to go. The venue is crawling with flaming drag queens, fire dancers, men in cages, and men in jockstraps. Muccassassina is a 3 layer rainbow cake, each floor set up with a couple bars and dance floors with DJs playing different music: the ground floors has a mix of 90s and club classics, 2nd plays top 40, and 3rd plays remixed top 40 with some house. The 3rd floor is the biggest; it has an enormous disco ball and a lattice structure for the VIP/table "4th" floor. Music is LOUD with lots of bass. Light show galore and confetti on special themed nights. Getting in costs €15 and includes a free cocktail. The first drink is pretty weak, but the ones after are decent. Coat check is €3. Drinks: €5 for beer, €10 for cocktails. They don't give you tap water and insist on selling you bottled water, but if you persist or look drunk enough they'll give in. Dancers and bouncers are very nice up to a certain limit. I took off a star for the price and another one for the creepers. Near the end of the night, things get a little sketchy. Pigneto is one of the shady parts of Rome, so don't let "La Vita Bella" get your guard down. Taxis are lined up outside the club for a quick escape. This is my favorite place to club, but it gets a little overwhelming. Have fun and play safe!

There were so many people and the level with hip hop and rap was amazing. It was like being at a concert, an extremely live one. We had to pay a cover to a very nice woman who informed us that at this spot the cover also takes care of our drinks. My only problem is how creepy the guys are, the level with reggaton is pretty much wall to wall dudes that could literally throw you over their shoulder and disappear with you haha

If you are ETHNIC or AMERICAN BEWARE!!!!!!…read more Friends and I wanted to go out and dance and have a fun time on a Friday (12/14/18)night. We spoke with a few locals/friends who are from here and have been told this would be a good place to go. We managed to get on the list for free entry before a certain time and indeed we made it to this club before then only to be told by the man that the line we were in was for "reserved tables only" and that we needed to go to the other line (as he pointed in a vague direction) behind him. So then we found a different line where a bearded man was letting people inside and we politely (and in our best Italian) asked if he spoke English and explained that we were on the list. He enlisted help from another man who reminded me of Red Foo from LMFAO because of his hair and glasses and when we explained the situation to this guy (the bearded man was secretly saying something to him on italian during this) and we showed him the QR code he told us he "needed to find the specific promoter" for us as we were on "Lista Sunset"... needless to say we waited and neither my friend nor I could recall him looking for this imaginary promoter. After we waited for about 15 or so minutes my friend asked the bearded guy for an update and the bearded man this time enlisted the help of a woman bundled in a scarf holding a clipboard (who also had been standing by fake red foo and bearded man during the previous interactions the whole time). Without asking anyone or even looking at the clipboard (presumably the lista)... she said that the club was full, meanwhile Italians are being let it from the two other lines without hesitation. I responded that we know that they aren't going to let us in and that I hope she have a good night. I would also like to say that a part of the reason why we chose to come to this club is because we just wanted to dance and meet more Italians and upon doing research learned that this particular night at Piper club they were playing hip hop, r&b, and reggaeton. I am a mixed black woman and my friends are Puerto Rican. We are all American. Imagine how much of a slap in the face that was. We did attempt another club close by, that was right next door to another (fancier) club which I will review next and, again, was denied entry because "the line is only for reserved tables/there's another entry into the club on the other side"... both lies. And of course they played music music that reflected our cultures. We do love it here in Italy, and have had wonderful experiences with the people up until this point, but it's incredibly saddening and disappointing to experience this in such a culture-rich country.
