From beds to cabinets to tables you name it, Furniture Kingdom II have all of these in stock. For a furniture store, the prices here are decent and are much cheaper than what you would find in furniture retail shops. What I will also say is that the quality of items on offer here are particularly good and this place is well worth a visit. It is a big store although there were some cramped areas. Staff are excellent and they will happily help you out. Having spoken to the staff here, I got the impression that they really are passionate about the company they work for. They also care about their customers as well which is great to see. And I'll also say you can have plenty of banter with them. A decent furniture store and one shop I might well visit again.

Set in Chelmsley Wood shopping centre in Chestnut, Birmingham, this is quite a large Wilkinson…read morestore but in other ways has the same winning mix of quirky stock and everyday essentials at very reasonable prices. I particularly love vtheir range of DIY and gardening ranges - their selection of cheap bulbs is particularly good value - but they also have great stocks of cleaning products, toiletries (including cheap razor blades etc for men), tinned and pakaged foods, chocolate and sweets, etc. The store could be a bit cleaner but that probably reflects the popularity of the shop and the amount of dropped littera nd packaging can probably only be swept up at the end of the day. Staff are reasonably friendly at the checkouts, but i didnt get the feeling that any of them particularly loved working there. All in all though this is a really good option within the shopping centre for everyday items available at really good prices. Recommended.

I took the bike to sprocket and asked about replacement if they could get it out. The staff were very helpful and when I said it might not be possible to save the frame, out of curiosity they put the bike straight on the shop stand to have a proper look at it. Minutes later I was walking out with a brand new bottom bracket installed. Very impressed. Reasonable prices. These guys love a challenge.

Yes - I could fix it myself but I am lazy and my bike is 50 years old so figured I'd just get a quote and see if someone professional could give it a once over. Not sure who I spoke to at Sprocket but he was very helpful and quoted me £28 for the same job. What a nice guy! I'll be taking 'Star Rider' (yes) down for a service very soon! Carpets and Furniture Discount Store is where my father comes to when it comes buying carpets. In terms of carpets, there are plenty to choose from and it's literally carpets galore. With a range of designs, there are also carpets targeted at children. It is a massive store and you are spoilt for choice. Carpets are expensive but believe me the carpets here are worth purchasing. Well worth coming here.

The selection of carpet and linoleum is quite excellent and they can order in anything that you want for your home, whether that be a Persian shag pile or a hard wood linoleum roll. The staff were on hand to answer any questions I had and did not force me to buy anything I didn't need or want to buy. Then I realised that a few of the chain discount stores in the area were selling similar products at only a fraction of the price. So I decided to chose the latter and give this place a miss. I would seriously come here if I needed a major carpeting job done, but for the small job I had, I found that it this shop wasn't too useful to me.
