I highly recommend Palm Harbor Chiropractic! I have been going to Dr. Gallagher for many years now…read more He is very kind, extremely gentle, very knowledgeable and has several ways of treating neck and back pain. The office staff are always there to help and are always very nice and accommodating. When I first presented to Palm Harbor Chiropractic, I was having terrible neck and back pain after a car accident that happened years before. After a thorough consultation and then examination, I was sent to get an MRI. I was told that I had degenerative arthritis that looked to be bad enough to require surgery in my neck. Not being happy with that diagnosis, I chose to give manipulation a try first. I opted for the seated activator method that was immediately followed by iced TENS treatment and was given instructions on how to ice my neck myself at home. After several months of extensive treatment, I am very happy to say that for the past several years I have been maintaining a happy spine with once a month or as needed treatments. There is never any pressure to do more treatments than I feel necessary to maintain a healthy spine and I really appreciate that fact as I have been pressured by other doctors in the past.

I was involved in a car accident and had lower back and neck pain. It was unbearable before I started treatment. Dr. Gallagher not only gave me physical support with spine issues, but he also gave me great advice regarding other medical questions as well. He was extremely smart and knowledgeable. Fast forward, I'm seeing Dr. Gallagher again due to some new complications due to new unfortunate accident. As usual, him and all of his staff have been amazing and so kind. Their office is immaculate and clean and so is their equipment. I know I get the best care here and am already feeling better. I think out of any other dr office, that Palm Harbor Chiropractor deserves a 5 star rating for sure and this is the best money spent because my health is so important and I'm on the road to recovery. Thank you, Dr. Gallagher!

In fact, I had no idea that you could manipulate the spine, neck, ribs and tailbone in the ways that he does. And it has been so effective. My back is more mobile than it has been in many years. Massage review I…read morebought a Groupon for an hour Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage. I opted for the sports massage, as I am a nurse and also an avid runner. The moment I walked in, I wanted to turn around and leave. The lobby is super small and felt cramped. Seating is far from 6-feet spacing with COVID regulations. It has a Gypsy-esc environment; not a professional chiropractic or massage atmosphere. Lots of pictures of the chiropractor with celebrities and signed memorabilia. While waiting, I witnessed one of the employees bring out about 7-8 marketing cups with lids and straws. During a pandemic, you probably shouldn't take straws of their wrapper. No temp check during check-in; even though the registration paper clearly listed space for it on the covid form. If you have a "mask required" sign and are selling masks, your employees should be wearing them. I saw 3 employees walk through the lobby without masks. I also got to hear first-hand how high an employees electric bill was when she decided the lobby was the perfect stop for her personal conversation. Also while waiting, I heard repeated foul language from male employee while he spoke with 2 female front desk staff. These staff members were also not wearing masks. Additionally, when I walked in, I was not greeted. They just sat back as I went to the second window and said I was checking in. Her only response as "uh okay" and looked at the other girl. Another customer walked in and wasn't greeted. She wandered for a minute and just went to the restroom. I waited until 5:34 before finally walking out. This facility closes at 6. I paid for an hour massage. You tell me how I got my money's worth. I left work early to come to this appointment and got nothing to show for it. I am extremely disappointed and trading in my Groupon. I won't be back.

I called to get the phone number and the woman who answered the phone told me that they did not have it. I came here after sensing for a long time that things were off with my neck and back. I knew I had…read morebad forward head posture from years at a desk job and also knew things were really off with my hips. My right side felt tight, uncomfortable, and compressed every time I lay down, it would pop in certain positions, and it felt like it might be higher than my left somehow. I can't even describe how incredible and validating it was to see these things on x-rays and scans in my second follow up appointment, almost exactly as I had suspected. I was shown the curvature to the degree. You don't get that type of visual at any doctor's office I have ever been to, and it helped me to feel like I was aware and in control. You can literally go home and do your own research if you're wary of the snake oil salesman (like I am). That alone was so worth it. They have a rare and interesting core belief of a "Doctor/Doctor" relationship, meaning you are in charge of your health, and they just provide the tools and support to help you make your decisions. I never would have access to some of these tools on my own, so I am beyond thankful. They set me up with a comprehensive plan and walked me through it, following up even outside of visits to see if I have any questions. I feel comfortable continuing to ask too, and not like they were extra caring just to get me in the door. I look forward to seeing changes, and I already can feel and see some in my neck. I also appreciate their goal of not having you rely on them to the excess long-term - that's how you know they're good. They will teach you specific strengthening exercises, give you the option of a home kit to use, and have tools and exercises in office they show you how to use to warm up and stabilize your spine before and after each visit. It's not just a crack your back and go type of place... they know their stuff and really care. The DO's are really busy, so they do have a specific system every time you go in, but you get used to it and it is highly efficient. Also, the office staff is absolutely lovely. Super caring, warm, and they will show you what to do if you have questions or if you look like you need help. I won't lie... doing the exercises before your appointment in the waiting room can be awkward. But you start to get over it when you see everyone else doing them for the sake of their own backs lol. I still have to get used to that. I have a few more things I'm hoping to get some help with, like some ear related issues I've had for years, but I feel confident they will give me good information or even refer if it really is needed. They have a lot of belief in what chiropractic care can do... and while I don't know if I'm as full in, I don't think you have to be, and we'll see how my health progresses. It's still incredibly beneficial. Also, it's the type of place where if I asked for the studies they got their information from, I think they would share them with you with no issue. I think they are all or mainly Christians, and the walk the walk Christians- not fake faith. You can tell in how kind they are and the care they give. 100% would recommend to anybody.

I've been going to Dr. Serrano and Dr. Vandoros for about a month now as of this review. I have had fairly chronic mid-back pain for nearly 15+ years and chiropractic care has been a source of relief for me over the years however when moving to the Safety Harbor area almost 3 years ago I have had a hard time finding someone that took care of me like they did in my previous location. The first step into this office, you know it is something different. The friendly front desk staff is willing to help and guide you to what you need to do. I would say if you need a long term fix (like I do) you need to take a look of the care plan packages that they can work with you on. The initial visit isn't just a 'quick fix' just to get you out the door. There is an Xray involved (which they do onsite), group classes and finally an individual plan workup if your care needs it. Dr. Serrano frequently has health clinics, dinners and other events that make you feel at home and part of something special. What else makes this place different? The check in process. You check in similar to going to a gym. Do your warmup exercises, and wait for your adjustment. The Doctor performs that adjustments and then you are sent to the back of the office to perform individual post-adjustment exercises. Everything is streamlined so it really doesn't take a lot of time. In addition to the Chiropractor services, they also offer dietary and whole-health advice and supplements to help you in your life journey. Also they have a youtube channel with a ton of testimonials, office tours and other helpful videos.
