The office staff are always there to help and are always very nice and accommodating. When I first presented to Palm Harbor Chiropractic, I was having terrible neck and back pain after a car accident that happened years before. After a thorough consultation and then examination, I was sent to get an MRI. I was told that I had degenerative arthritis that looked to be bad enough to require surgery in my neck. Not being happy with that diagnosis, I chose to give manipulation a try first. I opted for the seated activator method that was immediately followed by iced TENS treatment and was given instructions on how to ice my neck myself at home. After several months of extensive treatment, I am very happy to say that for the past several years I have been maintaining a happy spine with once a month or as needed treatments. There is never any pressure to do more treatments than I feel necessary to maintain a healthy spine and I really appreciate that fact as I have been pressured by other doctors in the past.

The moment I walked in, I wanted to turn around and leave. The lobby is super small and felt cramped. Seating is far from 6-feet spacing with COVID regulations. It has a Gypsy-esc environment; not a professional chiropractic or massage atmosphere. Lots of pictures of the chiropractor with celebrities and signed memorabilia. While waiting, I witnessed one of the employees bring out about 7-8 marketing cups with lids and straws. During a pandemic, you probably shouldn't take straws of their wrapper. No temp check during check-in; even though the registration paper clearly listed space for it on the covid form. If you have a "mask required" sign and are selling masks, your employees should be wearing them. I saw 3 employees walk through the lobby without masks. I also got to hear first-hand how high an employees electric bill was when she decided the lobby was the perfect stop for her personal conversation. Also while waiting, I heard repeated foul language from male employee while he spoke with 2 female front desk staff. These staff members were also not wearing masks. Additionally, when I walked in, I was not greeted. They just sat back as I went to the second window and said I was checking in. Her only response as "uh okay" and looked at the other girl. Another customer walked in and wasn't greeted. She wandered for a minute and just went to the restroom. I waited until 5:34 before finally walking out. This facility closes at 6. I paid for an hour massage. You tell me how I got my money's worth. I left work early to come to this appointment and got nothing to show for it. I am extremely disappointed and trading in my Groupon. I won't be back.

I have had fairly chronic mid-back pain for nearly 15+ years and chiropractic care has been a source of relief for me over the years however when moving to the Safety Harbor area almost 3 years ago I have had a hard time finding someone that took care of me like they did in my previous location. The first step into this office, you know it is something different. The friendly front desk staff is willing to help and guide you to what you need to do. I would say if you need a long term fix (like I do) you need to take a look of the care plan packages that they can work with you on. The initial visit isn't just a 'quick fix' just to get you out the door. There is an Xray involved (which they do onsite), group classes and finally an individual plan workup if your care needs it. Dr. Serrano frequently has health clinics, dinners and other events that make you feel at home and part of something special. What else makes this place different? The check in process. You check in similar to going to a gym. Do your warmup exercises, and wait for your adjustment. The Doctor performs that adjustments and then you are sent to the back of the office to perform individual post-adjustment exercises. Everything is streamlined so it really doesn't take a lot of time. In addition to the Chiropractor services, they also offer dietary and whole-health advice and supplements to help you in your life journey. Also they have a youtube channel with a ton of testimonials, office tours and other helpful videos.
