Kind, smart, listens, takes his time with you, gentle, explains things, and cares. What more could you possibly want in a doctor?

I recently called and received an appointment right away. I have been in so much foot pain…read more I'm new to the area. I arrived to a busy office but the 2 woman checking everyone in were very friendly efficient and organized. What appeared to be overwhelming to patients walking in was quickly dissolved. I was taken to the exam room within minutes of completing the check in. Technician who assessed me for the doctor including pictures of my feet was very friendly. Dr Boga came in within minutes and he too professional and welcoming. He explained what he would like me to try and I was confident with his recommendation. I feel 1000% better. Highly recommend this practice

After a very long online process to make an appointment, including the need to upload my insurance forms with a glitchy upload app, they proceeded to send me multiple texts demanding I check in on line, including uploading a photo of my driver's license and threatening me with cancellation of my appointment if I didn't. Also was asked to get here half an hour early to complete the check in process. I did, got through checkin in 10 minutes and now I have time to write this review. Two stars because once I got here all has gone smoothly - but the experience before I got here was so unpleasant it made me consider cancelling.

When the dr told him he would be draining the cyst with a needle, my son understandably became really nervous and anxious. He hates needles. Instead of trying to calm my 12yo, he kept shaming him for being nervous, and then at one point said, dude, do you just want to go home? He rushed the entire procedure with such rudeness, and once he was done he didn't even clean up, just threw his gloves in the trash and left. No discussion on how to treat the drained cyst afterward, no eye contact, nothing. Pretty appalling. There must be better doctors to see.

I like that he takes time to explain in detail to patients his diagnosis of the issue, his solution, and how the healing process will look like. He helped me with two different injuries (broken toe and calf strain), and educated me on ways to take better care of myself through sports and everyday life. His staff are also the kindest and most helpful and thorough group of professionals I've ever met in a medical setting. I'm so grateful I found the Peninsula Foot & Ankle Center!! Saying bye to everyone after my last visit was bittersweet . I wish all health care facilities could feel like this place.

I wanted to share my positive experience following my first consultation with Dr. Ishibashi today…read more I am truly pleased and thankful that I was able to schedule this appointment. I initially discovered Dr. Ishibashi on TikTok and messaged her several times regarding my situation. I was happily surprised when she replied, and later learned she was opening her practice here in the L.A area. During the consultation, she took the time to review my history, take necessary x-rays, and throughly discuss the results with me. I particularly appreciate that she listened and took the time to fully understand my situation, which has been a challenging roller coaster ride. For future patients, I do want to mention that there are fees for the consultation, x- rays, and follow up visits if you do not have insurance, but I consider the investment well worth it for the quality of care received.

I had a great experience with Kin Foot & Ankle and Dr. Ishibashi for a sports related injury that…read morecame back to haunt me from my past. I played competitive basketball growing up and sprained my right ankle constantly. I taped it, rested a few days, and kept playing. I never did proper rehab, so that ankle always felt a little loose and weak over the years. I'm 34 now and training for a marathon. Once my weekly mileage increased, the old injury started showing up during runs. Around mile three or four I would feel a sharp pulling pain along the outside of my ankle that wrapped into my heel. After longer runs my ankle would swell and feel stiff. Walking downstairs felt unstable and I caught myself limping a few times. I had to cut a couple runs short because my stride felt off. I booked an appointment because I wanted to take care of it before it turned into something bigger. Dr. Ishibashi was incredibly thorough from the first visit. She asked about my full sports history, my old basketball injuries, my training schedule, and exactly when the pain showed up. She examined my ankle stability, watched how I moved, and explained how years of repeat sprains led to chronic instability and tendon irritation once I increased my running volume. Her approach focused on getting me back to running safely. She created a clear recovery plan with bracing, targeted strengthening, and physical therapy to build support around the ankle. Everything felt personalized to an active lifestyle and long distance training. The clinic itself is beautiful and very clean. The facilities feel modern and well equipped. The staff is friendly and organized, and appointments always run smoothly. Dr. Ishibashi is attentive, patient, and easy to talk to. She listens closely and answers every question. I always felt supported and cared for. A few months later, I'm back to consistent marathon training with steady mileage and no swelling or pain. If you're dealing with a foot or ankle sports injury, running related pain, or lingering issues from old athletic wear and tear, I highly recommend Dr. Ishibashi and Kin Foot & Ankle.

I'm told to make payment arrangements with billing. I can pay for the bill, but I don't want to because this is an absolutely ridiculous amount given that I have great insurance which would cost less had I gone in for a surgical appointment. Be careful when going to Stanford healthcare for appointments. I changed my providers to PAMF after this incident.
