I suppose that it's kind of the norm at most outlet malls. Not all stores will give you heavily slashed prices on everything. I like that it's an indoor mall. You are protected from the elements when the temperature swings thirty degrees in either direction from zero. -30°C? You are safe from having your eyelashes freeze over. 30°C? It was what I had experienced while in the city. This mall was nicely air-conditioned and perfect to hibernate against hot, humid conditions. The mix of stores made me happy. Old Navy. GAP Factory. Winners. Claire's. Kernels - Baskin-Robbins. Skechers. Danier. Starbucks. Urban Treasures. Chatime. Lindt. I was perfectly content shopping at these places. Some are your regular businesses at any mall, such as Chatime and Starbucks. Winners has decent prices already. Old Navy, GAP Factory, and Lindt had deals that you'd expect from an outlet. The deals were fabulous. If you are a visitor, you can get a discount when you shop at various stores by dropping by Guest Services. The problem that I encountered was that they ask for ID. I dropped by to shop with a credit card and me. This woman at the counter would not accept photos of my driver's licence, both front and back, with my mugshot, on my phone. I didn't feel like grabbing my ID from the glove compartment of my rental vehicle and heading back to save maybe a couple of dollars on my great deals. Some stores are separate from the mall, but are still a part of it. Krispy Kreme is an example. I don't mind it because it has a drive-thru. There's also an IHOP, which is nice not doing a trip over the border to get your pancake fix. I spent my last full day in Winnipeg at this mall for a few hours. I enjoyed it. I used the washroom before I left. It was fancy and clean. There was plenty of parking. Each entrance is numbered, which is helpful. I look forward to returning to the city and dropping by this mall again. I'm glad that I can finally say that I've shopped here at long last. (330)

Maybe this review is influenced by the fact I've been to many other outlet malls that have more variety, but I definitely felt underwhelmed after shopping here. The location itself isn't very ideal, as the two major streets are high traffic, so getting here isn't exactly convenient. The mall bills itself as an outlet mall, but I honestly saw very few outlet prices. There were barely any sales or deals in all the places I went to. Definitely disappointing. The place is huge though, and the mall design is extremely open concept, plus the washrooms are really neat. That's about all the positives I can say unfortunately; Polo Park has better options in my opinion if you're looking for clothing.

Tip: Sign up for Torrid rewards to get discounts towards purchases and more…read more I have flagged visiting this Torrid store at Collection Outlet Winnipeg within the past year. I like that this chain has graphic t-shirts and larger shoe sizes. Torrid accommodates curvy women, which I appreciate. I don't exactly fit the demographic perfectly, but I can manage to wear clothing on the smaller side of the sizing scale. It's cool. I do like options. This store was clean and bright. There were deals everywhere. The best deals were in the back left of the store. I managed to find a pair of cargo pants that were regularly $109, but were reduced to $30. They looked like they would fit me. I wasn't sure because I had never bought pants here. I needed to find a fitting room. I headed to the checkout area and asked a female staffer if I could try them on. She was friendly, said yes, and led me to a fitting room by unlocking the door. These pants fit perfectly. The length and inseam were great. I could breathe in them. Yay! I looked around and liked a cardigan. It was lightweight, but Winnipeg was going through a heatwave outside that I couldn't look at any clothing for Fall. I found the graphic t-shirts. I liked the Care Bears one. Nothing truly screamed at me. It probably means that I'm content with my wardrobe. I found my sneakers that I had bought almost a year ago. They are so comfortable. It was one of my favourite purchases from this chain. I headed to the checkout area. It took a while for the nice woman to return. She was helping another person unlock a fitting room. I wasn't in a rush. It allowed me to look at the earring sets. I love them. They are comfortable and the designs are cute. I recommend signing up for Torrid rewards. I got an additional $10 off my purchase when I was here. My pair of cargo pants were $20 after all the discounts. Yay! The best way for the staffer to find your rewards account is to provide your phone number. Easy peasy! I paid with a credit card. I tapped and I was done. She put my item in a paper bag with handles. I thanked her and happily left with my purchase. I'm pleased with my new cargo pants and the price that I paid for them. I loved shopping here. I hope to return the next time I'm at the outlet. I found a lone pair of sandals that I liked, but they were only in a size 8. I like cargo pants. It's likely because I like pockets. I'd rather have more than none. This store had many styles, from wide-leg to chino pants. My favourite section was the clearance section at the back. I spotted a cute t-shirt with little watermelon slices at the front of the store. It was the only one, but not in my size. I found the same t-shirt in the clearance section in my size for $5. One word: mine! Canada Day had just past. Sweaters and other articles from this holiday were also at reduced prices. It was so hot in Winnipeg that the thought of trying on a sweater made me instantly sweat. I headed to the checkout area. I got a female staffer who was cheerful and pleasant. I entered my phone number associated with GAP rewards. I had a bit of a discount, but decided to let it blossom some more. I paid for my dirt-cheap t-shirt with a debit card. Done! She gave me a paper bag with handles, which I used for my entire shopping time at this outlet mall. I thanked her and left. I have a small fruit-themed t-shirt collection. I got a cherries one from a GAP outlet in Ajax over a year ago. This watermelon t-shirt now keeps my cherries one company. I love it. it's soft and fits nicely. It's a decent Old Navy outlet with great prices. I was thrilled with my purchase. I'd return again when I'm back in the city. (292)

They sell mostly European brands especially Italian. Lots of suits and dress shirts and an amazing selection of high-end dress shoes. There's also a small section of sports/casual wear and outerwear. They sell brands like Hugo Boss, Alberto Guardiani, Poggianti, Signum, Van Gils, Pal Zileri and Mabrun. You can't miss this store on Broadway as it's a dark gray cube with no windows other than the display area. The interior is a darker space so it feels like you've stepped into another world when you enter the store. Service ranges from neutral, friendly to cold with a bit of a "I don't really care" type of attitude. You will probably get warmer service from Harry Rosen since it's situated in a mall and the sales people there are trained in that sense. Here, it's a boutique and it's almost like you have to earn friendly service. LOL. It really depends on the sales person you encounter. We had the best service from the owner but it also helps when my honey has been a client for years. There is parking behind the store though it's a bit chaotic as you're double parked behind staff.
