I was at a total loss when my loved one was jailed and I had ABSOLUTELY no money to bail him out. I…read morewas going to do a property bond elsewhere as it is not an offered service at this establishment, until I spoke to Mr. Waits, who explained exactly what that entailed and advised me against it. I am so so so grateful he took the time to educate me so I could make an informed decision, and that he was truthful and forthcoming in how it all works. Ive never had to do this before and I was such a bundle of dreadful nerves and tears and hopelessness. I know I must have called 4-5 times speaking to both husband and wife in an effort to find a solution. They went out on faith and worked with me when they could've easily denied me. Mr. and Mrs. Waits offer a title pawn services at this location and allowed me to use our title as security. They even covered the bond fee that I couldn't afford and allowed me to basically create my own payment plan in installments so I could afford this. They were gracious, professional, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, expedient and were not even the slightest bit condescending towards me during one of the most embarrassing experiences of my life. As a matter of fact, as they were walking me though the whole process and clarifying as we went, they were both very reassuring that this would NOT be the end of the world for either of us, that I should absolutely NOT equate myself to the decisions of those I love, and that opinions held by other people in our little busy-body small-town are NOT definitive of our personal character. People make mistakes, were only human. It truly renewed my spirit to have had the time to speak with them and I am eternally grateful. It was like having a super supportive family member or very close friend. It was a ton of paperwork and the entire process took several hours to complete...although from my research that seems to be the norm, and also perhaps my situation in particular was just a pain and more involved than most...but when I tell you the folks are gold, I won't do business else where and they have got my recommendation for life. An extra special thanks to Stacy for going out of her way for me both geographically and in her earnest efforts to find a reasonable solution that was financially feasible.

Drove an hour and called ahead to confirm my refund, only to face unnecessary runarounds. I had…read morebeen bonded out of Clayton County and was already upset with how I was treated during the process. Adding to my frustration were the travel expenses I had to incur just to sort this out. Transportation isn't cheap, and folks often have to stretch their budgets to handle situations like this. After weeks of waiting, I still haven't received my refund. Despite having three forms of ID, including an expired passport with my dead name, updated IDs, and my name change documentation, she refused to release my check. I was left with no choice but to call the police. These kinds of games and tactics are oppressive, designed to weaponize bureaucracy against individuals. They send the message that people like me aren't entitled to what is rightfully ours, and they create unnecessary barriers for marginalized communities trying to reclaim their time and resources. "Iwish I had my refund before Thanksgiving, Black Friday, or even Cyber Monday. Now, I've missed out on getting a discounted TV or PS5--something I had been looking forward to. This is exactly why I stayed on top of my case; personal experiences have taught me to be proactive. I did nothing wrong and won't let anyone make me feel less than I am. I know my rights and refuse to accept being denied what is mine--my refund, which I should never have had to pay in the first place. I should not have been charged over 15%, and I deserved to be treated with the same respect as anyone else. Let's be honest: I should have been treated like a Caucasian person. From my record, it's clear I'm no flight risk, and this treatment was unnecessary and discriminatory. And all them extra fees I'm not looking forward too! Update: " Not LGBT-friendly. My class was dismissed, and I was never contacted about court. My lawyers had to handle it all ! They charged me $1,600 and was confirmed by the office I'd be refunded around $800, but after two months of back-and-forth and a nightmare trying to pick up my check an hour away, they ended up stealing $400. They refused to give me a breakdown of the fees. Don't waste your time--go with a trustworthy company. If you want this review removed, give me back the money you stole. It wasn't attorney fees--my lawyer is with the Georgia Justice Project, and they're the best!!!I have the court paperwork !! Lawrenceville location Stole my money 400 half of my collateral!!! ¡Groseros y racistas!

DO NOT -- and I repeat -- DO NOT -- USE THIS BONDING COMPANY UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING DISRESPECTED,…read moreIGNORED & GASLIT Let me walk you through the absolute circus of incompetence and blatant disrespect I experienced with this so-called bonding company over a holiday weekend -- because if I don't put this out in full technicolor, they'll keep getting away with it. It all began on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, when I initiated the bond process. Now, I expected some delays -- it's a holiday, fine. But what I didn't expect was to be thrown into a whirlwind of miscommunication, manipulation, and outright rudeness, particularly from an agent named Leah, who needs to be retrained, reassigned, or released from duty altogether. Leah was argumentative, dismissive, and downright nasty. And when I tried to ask reasonable questions about the process -- namely, why I was NEVER informed about the security deposit required for non-Georgia residents -- she beat me to start line of getting upset and hung up on me. Repeatedly. Yes, you read that right. A paying customer who just wanted clarity. Apparently, unless you were born, raised, working, living, breathing, and dying in Georgia, you can forget a smooth bond process. You'll need to fork over more money or get penalized for not having deep roots in the red clay. Despite all of this, I sent the money the very next day, trying to remain cooperative. I was told -- PROMISED -- that my sister's name would be put on the list for release within 1 to 3 hours. I waited. And waited. And waited some more. Five hours later? Nothing. No updates. No release. I called. They told me to call the jail. I called the jail. The jail had no idea what company I was talking about. I called the bonding company back. THEY TOLD ME TO CALL THE JAIL AGAIN. Then suddenly, they "needed to figure out what's going on with the bond." As if they didn't already know that somebody on their end fumbled -- or, more likely, deliberately sabotaged -- the process, probably because Leah had a personal vendetta after I dared to question her professionalism. Then final insult to injury? When I tried to escalate the disaster to someone else in the company, I got another condescending, apathetic representative Doug/Derek or whatever his name was who had the nerve -- the gall -- the audacity to ask me, "What exactly are you hoping to get out of this call?" Well I don't know sir, I'm ONLY trying to get my SISTER OUT OF JAIL. I'm not calling for emotional support or cupcakes -- I'm calling because YOU ALL FAILED TO DO YOUR JOB correctly and your agent treated me like trash, fumbled my sisters freedom and Instead of accountability, offered vague nonsense like, "It varies," when asked how much longer the process would take. No empathy. No apology. No urgency. Just vibes and excuses. And when I pushed back -- suddenly I'm the "argumentative" one? No. What you're not going to do is drop the ball, lose the paperwork, miscommunicate with the jail, lie to me about timelines, hang up on me repeatedly, and then slap an "attitude" label on me when I call you out for it. If you care about your loved ones, your money, and your sanity -- RUN. Shaina, the first agent I spoke to, was helpful and respectful. She made sure the bond was properly processed in the end, and I want to be clear -- my frustration was never with her. Debbie -- bless her -- was already swamped, but stopped what she was doing to help me after she heard how poorly I'd been treated by Leah she showed me the kind of compassion and competence this company is sorely lacking! In summary: This company is a masterclass in how not to do business. They lack basic communication skills, customer service training, and any shred of decency or urgency. Disrespectful. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Unapologetic. May this review echo through every Google search inquiry about bonding companies in Georgia. You've been warned.
