Both me and my daughter see doctors here and have had nothing but great experiences. They are always quick to get us in and spend extra time to make sure we are truly treating the issue. When something small comes up that I am concerned about, I am always able to get a quick answer- whether it's advice, prescriptions, or a visit scheduled. And I've worked front office and back office with physicians, I know it can be done. Anyway, an acquaintance of mine posted about improvements to her health. I wanted a change so I pressed her for some details. She happily told me about the naturopaths at NSNM. In March 2012, I admittedly made my first appointment with a little hesitation. I didn't have much experience with alternative medicine except for home remedies that my grandmother did. I went into the clinic with an open mind. Julie checked me in with little fuss and I made a cup of tea while I waited. My wait was minimal. Jennifer came into the waiting room, introduced herself, and led me back to the exam room for my first visit. She listened. I mean, doctors are trained to listen but I got the sense that she was genuinely listening to everything that I said. The hour flew by easily. After several visits since then, I am a convert. I do not doubt the dedication that Jennifer has for her patients. She and Robin Sinclair (her clinic partner) genuinely care and listen to your concerns when discussing your healthcare needs. At the end of your visit, your treatment plan will be sent home with you in case you forget what was prescribed or suggested. I cannot recommend them enough. I had adrenal fatigue in 2006 after I had my daughter and had not slept for about 12 months ( I'm not exaggerating. I think I slept about 2-3 hours a night). I had burned my adrenals out. I had no cortisol left! I could not fall asleep at night ( when my baby was finally sleeping through the night) and I could not wake up in the morning. I found Dr. Michelle and she did a saliva test and found that my cortisol was flatlined. After a year of taking a natural cortisol supplement, I was back to normal. I also had been severely anemic and she treated me with iron shots, which worked so much better than iron pills. Recently, while going through a divorce I had a lot of anxiety and some depression. And again, I went to Dr. Michelle and she put me on a number of anxiety reducing supplements that worked. She also helped my daughter when she contracted Lymes disease from a tick bite.
