I felt I should write a review about Let Wise to highlight how they have gone the extra mile for myself and family over the past couple of months. Let Wise were put in a difficult spot due to the Landlord of the property I was renting, requesting they end the tenancy and sell the house. Let Wise did follow the landlord instructions, while aiming to ensure myself and family had alternative accommodation. Due to us having a pet dog, finding a replacement property was difficult. Let Wise proactively sourced us a property and negotiated with the landlord to accept our pet dog. Let Wise raised no agency fees for the new property, due to us being previous tenants of theres and worked to delay our move out of the old rented house to coincide with the date our new house was available. The Let Wise staff I dealt with were extremely conscientious, worked very hard to find a solution and went far and beyond what people have become to expect from Letting Agents. As a landlord with a sizeable portfolio, I do know what to expect. Let Wise have a difficult job as a property management agent and have always treated myself and tenants with respect and the highest level of professionalism. The tenants Let Wise source are always of the highest standard, I have not had any problems with rent arrears or late payers. I always have a comprehensive inventory available to review at the time the tenants check out, which I can rely on if any deductions are necessary from the tenants deposit. Let Wise always manage to find me tenants within two weeks of being advised the property is becoming available, which means my void periods are minimised. Throughout the four years Let Wise have acted as my managing agent, I have been extremely impressed. Helpful agents, we needed a property as we had been made homeless due to me losing my job in Cornwall. As I have family here in Cardiff myself and my girlfriend decided to re-locate back to Wales and struggled with most agents as they do not accept housing benefit! We came across Letwise when we went into Marland House where we were referred over to the team who contacted us an hour later to arrange viewings and were very attentive to helping us find the right property. Even though we did not end up taking a property with these guys, we would in the future should our circumstances change, we have recommended their services to our friends and family. To all tenants our there, I have just left a property that was managed throughout by Let Wise, and wish to express my gratitude for how well they looked after me over the years I was a tenant with them. On a couple of occasions my boiler stopped working, and within 24 hours there contractor came to see me and fixed the fault to ensure I had hot water and heating. Unlike previous occasions when I have rented with other agents, an independent professional inventory clerk carried out a full check out inspection using the original inventory, which put my mind at ease and I was happy with the deductions that the landlord wished to make from my bond. I recently rented an apartment in Cardiff City Centre through Let Wise. They were superb throughout the marketing of my property. My current tenant was sourced in two weeks, despite Let Wise having a tenant that wanted my apartment within the first couple of days. Let Wise acted impartially and advised me that the initial Tenant would not pass their strict referencing criteria, so advised that I hold out for a tenant that had better credibility. Letwise where the first letting agents I used in Cardiff and the whole process was seamless and on top of that I had a great landlord. Now just over 2 years later, I've moved to another area and experienced the service through another letting agent. Recently did some work for the let wise team and found them to be very efficient and professional. when I went to the property to carry out repairs I met with the tenant who advised that she is impressed by how quick they got someone out to look at the issue. just goes to show that here's an agency who know how to follow procedures and get things done! Easily the best level of service I have received from a Cardiff Letting Agent. My apartment in the City Centre was rented within the first few days of Let Wise marketing it. The staff were approachable and very accommodating throughout the entire process, they even checked my tenants in for me on the start date of the tenants agreement, due to me being away on hols. I was offered very constructive recommendations throughout the application process to ensure the tenants expectations are managed from the start. I hate moving but Letwise were able to at least make finding a property easy. After calling a number of agencies and being informed properties have already been rented, I then spoke to Jesse at Letwise. Letwise did not have a suitable property at the time of my call, however 2 days later Jesse called back as a new property had been advertised with them. A lovely refreshing company. As a family with 2 children and a dog, it was very difficult finding a property that would accept our pet.
