I made a last minute appointment for the same day after having a week of tension in my neck and…read moreshoulders that would not go away. I scheduled a one-hour cupping session with Amanda. Being new to cupping, I had no idea what to expect and, wow, it was better than I anticipated. Amanda took her time to talk with me when I arrived to get to know me and explain the cupping process. She spent the beginning of the appointment doing a deep tissue massage, focusing on my areas of tension. This included some stretching, which felt amazing. She was very knowledgeable, commenting on reasons for tension/knots in certain areas and even knowing from massaging my neck that I clench my teeth! At the end of the massage came the cupping. Amanda used stationary cups (the traditional ones that stay in place with suction) as well as cups that she moved around, describing it as almost a "reverse massage." This was a "hurts but feels good" situation for me. I really enjoyed it, and felt like the tension in my neck and shoulders was finally relieved. Amanda suggested an epsom salt bath and rest as cupping is intended to detox the body. I took her suggestions and felt so relaxed. The cupping did leave marks but they went away in about a week. I would absolutely go back for a massage and cupping!

I was skeptical at first--the outside gave off more nail salon vibes than high-end spa. Once inside, the massage rooms are simple, with walls that don't go all the way up and curtains separating the spaces, so you can hear what's going on around you. I laid on the table thinking, "What did I get myself into?" But let me tell you--this was the BEST massage I've ever had. I've been to spas all over the world, spent top dollar on deep tissue massages, and this guy blew them all away. His technique was absolutely perfect. I was zoned out, relaxed, and left feeling incredible. He even healed a pain I'd had in my back for two years. I went back again today, got in right away, and the second massage was even better. Now that I wasn't on edge, I noticed how clean and well-kept everything is. It's basic, but spotless--and that matters most to me. Also? $65 for 60 minutes. Insane. Leave a fat tip--they deserve it. And the hot stones? 10,000/10.

Unfortunately, the otherwise pleasant experience was tainted by one staff member's unprofessional behavior. After we left a tip, over and above the paid service, he became irate and aggressively demanded more, resulting in showing a piece of paper with information which broke down into prices for a tip I guess because of the language barrier. This behavior was unbecoming so the importance of maintaining professionalism, especially in customer service. The incident overshadowed the excellent job dome by the spa and given the reviews online that echo the similar experiences, it seems they're losing potential return customers due to staff behavior. Regrettably, were among them, having decided not to return after such an unpleasant experience.

My first time visiting this spa. I have a usual place in another town but couldn't make it there…read moreso since I'm in this area I figured I would try this place out.. while it looks like a nice place and has cool gifts that I noticed just walking by, I was disappointed in my pedicure. I will not name my nail tech, I am not writing this to bash her, today could have just been an off day, I'm just writing about my experience today. I asked for a classic pedicure and I get a gel polish, I told the nail tech I would like the nails clipped should they need it and shaped as square, she said they would be fine with just a file but then later proceeded to clip them, which looking after, was a bad call because she was right the first time, just a file would have been fine because now my short toes are too short and they were clipped at an angle and she did not clip and shape my big toe which is what I was talking about in the beginning. So I had to fix the smaller toes trying not to make them shorter than they already are now. She polished them nicely with my black color which is hard to polish but she did not reshape them after the polish was dried & I had nail polish on the skin on the side of my toe. I had to come home, reshape and file my big toe then that's when I noticed a smudge on one of my toes which can only happen when they are tacky before the UV light so that's something she did not catch as well, luckily it isn't noticeable unless looked up close. I don't know that I would return for another pedicure, but maybe will try the spa services instead. A bit pricey for what I received but makes sense for the area and it being a spa.
