I will say they matched my colour perfectly, and seeing how it's bright red I was a little worried. Regrettably, that was the only positive part to speak of. I don't know the names of any of the 3 ladies who worked on me, and only one of them bothered to actually talk to me. It was also the most painful hair experience I've ever had, all 3 ladies really yanked on my hair. One lady seemed to realize she was hurting me, and apologized but didn't change anything about how she was working with my hair. Due to this, I feel like I've suffered a lot of breakage. The worst part was the staining that occurred. After washing the dye out and getting into the chair, I saw literally globs of dye still on my neck. I've had red hair for years, so I know some staining is unavoidable. What I experienced yesterday was beyond that, however. There was staining all around my hairline, about a centimeter out from my hairline on my face and neck. I was so embarrassed I had to cancel plans to go out, even after scrubbing my skin with vinegar and nail varnish remover. I paid over 70 pounds and feel disappointed. Would not recommend.

They offer a full range of services from up-do's to extensions and everything in between. The salon is always very busy as it is extremely popular. It can be difficult to get a short notice appointment but its worth waiting a little bit longer to get the quality of service they provide. The staff are super friendly and actually have a proper conversation with you rather than the usual mundane chat about your social life, job and love life. There are many different beauty treatments available. I have yet to try these but they appear to be priced competitively. On offer are facials, maincures, pedicures, massage, body treatments, hair removal, tanning, eye treatments, ear piercing and nail enhancements. There are a great many options available and nothing appears to have been left out. Thanks to my girlfriend I have spent a large portion of time waiting around in places such as this and the Powder Room is one of the nicer places I have stared at the walls in. The staff are friendly and well presented and this place appears to have a touch of class about, rather than being a quick botch job to make people look like clowns these people take time and care over what they do. This is a hairdressing studio that truly cares and your hair really will be Fabulous when you leave! Run by Rachel, it's a great little find, hidden in the Static Gallery building, full of bright colours and personality; pink and green drapes (following the watermelon theme here) and bare brick walls give this gem of a studio little personal touches which make you feel at home instantly. It's really cheap for the service you get (I paid £25 for a full re-style) and so relaxed and fun that I can't imagine going anywhere else now.
