I was so disgusted by the sight and the thought of eating pastries from the same case that I asked for a refund. The shopkeeper refused to give me a refund and insisted that their store has been inspected by the health department. Come on, there were flies crawling inside and outside the cake! No health department in their right mind would give their approval. If that cake was bad, it shouldn't be in the same display case as other goods that are being sold. Maybe that was a one-time incident, but they also should have taken care of an unhappy customer. I'm never going back to Paul again.
