Plenty of classes, I was told it has the most classes out to of all Les Milld. Still going through them all. Some of the instructors are new, so you may have to just try them out. Convenient parking next door but only for 75 min. They have a very weird ticketing system where you have to enter your number plate and get a ticket but you don't have to display the ticket. No cafe like the city gym but I guess it's close enough to Newmarket shops that you can just go there afterwards. Overall Grey new clean place with friendly staff. Check it out!

24/7 Gym. Not much else to say…read more Has cardio machines, decent amount. Dumbbells, machine weights, FREE WEIGHTS (which Jett's doesn't have) Very packed during peak hours so I avoid going at those times. I mean, its a 24-hour gym... there so many more options than before or after work. I trained with a personal trainer, Julian, for a few months and was getting great motivation and tips on exercise and nutrition. The administrative staff here are great, was able to put my membership on hold for 3 months while I was away in Boston and there weren't any branches close by. I think I'm on the cheapest rate they have which comes to $60 a month

When comparing to the cost of other gyms it's a no brainer that I've chosen to come her for the last three years. I think I pay just under $300 for six months and the Massey students pay something totally stupid like $100 for the whole year! But this place isn't only for students. Anyone of any age is welcome and there is a huge variety of people coming in and out of the doors. This gym has all the equipment I need and the personal trainers always have a smile of their faces and are willing to help! With your membership you get a new program every six weeks and the trainers will take you through it carefully to make sure you know what you're doing. As with all gyms, this one gets busy. Especially at peak times like 5-7pm. Also a lot of the people who go here (males in particularly) are part of the new craze of gym freaks who are vain, self obsessed and only work out their upper bodies. It can be added entertainment seeing huge buff-shouldered guys doing bench press but then teetering around on tiny woman-sized calves. Whatever you're into I guess...

Kitted out with all the latest cardio and weights equipment, it's the ideal playground for fitness freaks. Another plus is the layout, which is much more logical than the Victoria St, where you have to weave through sweaty, old men pumping iron to get to the group fitness and cardio rooms. Theres none of that at Britomart, where you can access the cardio room, the weights room and the changing room all directly from reception...makes sense really. Adding to it's appeal the Britomart gym also has Saunas in the men's and women's changing rooms, FREE Wifi and 90 minutes of FREE parking at the Britomart Carpark next door.

The cardio area has good amount of machines. But can imagine a small wait during peak hours. Free internet and parking. No coffee and child minding service.

I was happily surprised that this gym was what i was looking for, I think the exterior can give you another story when inside you have a little bitt of everything, and fitness is the priority. This used to be a Northcote plant nursery about four years ago, as I remember it when I first moved to the area. On my first visit I chatted with the friendly trainer on a weekend afternoon as the gym was about to shut. I was welcomed in for a free one week trial where I could try out the three different classes available, and use any of the weights and machines in the gym. I tried out Box fit, which is high intensity boxing class combined with lots of cardio and strength exercises, and also my favourite class the StretchFit which is a combination of Yoga and Pilates. Have to say the seller on my membership was the Stretch fit class because I get such a massive return from it, gives me extra energy and keeps me flexible. The friendly and passionate staff, and top quality fitness gear make this a really great gym. They have competitive prices if you sign up as a couple. I am super happy with the close proximity to where I live as this keeps me regular too.
