This is a place that is a step up from camping, ideal for a family reunion with activities for a wide range of people.
Each unit is a small cabin. Ours had two just-right-sized bedrooms, with a little kid-sized bunk bed in one and a wide trundle bed couch in the living room. The kitchenette had dishes, a dishwasher, a fridge, and an electric two-burner stovetop. To get the dishes, there is a supplementary fee. Some parties in our group did not get what they reserved upon arrival, but they were able to sort it out. The clothing rack was useful for drying pool towels and bathing suits.
There is a clean swimming pool with a child-proof door, carts with questionable safety measures (our son's leg got scraped up on gravel, and we saw another kid with a big bandage on her leg), a game room, badminton, etc. There are plenty of activities, and for the most part, kids of all ages can be free to roam around.
Some things to improve: the floor felt dirty on my feet, so I wore flip-flops inside; they don't have sponges or dish soap and some of the dishes seemed to need to be recleaned; there is a coffee pot but no filters; wifi basically doesn't work--this was a fine reason to stay off the phone, but if you need wifi to communicate with the group, that's not happening. A few of these issues were solved by a drive into town for the supermarket, but it would have been helpful if management provided a checklist of helpful things to bring. read more
