Stopped here when visiting the waterfalls, so a convenient location if you're in the area to see the falls. Small parking lot but you can park on the street. French and English menus available. Espresso was strong and flavorful. I got the nest panini and salad combo - I got a mix of all 3 salads which was couscous, radish salad, and a coleslaw type salad. Really tasty and a lot of food for the price, which included the espresso. Lots of knock knacks and jewelry for sale. Cute little shop and great customer service. Would definitely return!

Adorable little cafe for lunch on our way back from St Anne de Beaupre

Thanks to Yelp we found this cute little cafe to stop for lunch on our trip from Basilica St Anne de Beaupre back to Old Quebec. Les Cafes de Julie offers coffee drinks, pastries, paninis and salads. The cafe also has wares for sale. The two women who were working there said they would bring our food to us, which was a nice touch as food is ordered at the counter. My husband and I split a ham and turkey panini with chips, couscous salad and peach ice tea. It was the perfect lunch spot. There is also a masseuse that has a room within the building as it seems to be a dual business.

Incredible, some of the best food we had in Quebec City! The ham panini melts in your mouth, the bread is so fresh and the pesto jam is incredible! Comes with a side, we had the pasta salad - also incredibly fresh, we saw her make it from scratch! So many locals enjoying this spot! Perfect for after walking Montmorency Falls. Can't wait to come back!

Great place, located near the falls. A quick, delicious bite, and the lady who works there is very nice! Menu includes paninis, soups, salads and LOTS of desserts. The paninis are pre-made so it's hard to ask for an ingredient to be excluded if you have allergies. I am vegan but asked for the cheese to be left off and the panini was delicious with the couscous salad. Large selection of teas and coffees with lots of souvenirs if you're looking for something nice for your home. Would come here again and support local business!

We stopped by this charming cafe overloaded with tons of great personality. There are lots of interesting coffee and tea choices. The owner was very nice. The lunch menu was somewhat limited but the food was high quality and great tasting. The paninis were fantastic. I had a carrot side salad and it was an excellent complement to my sandwich. We made a mistake on our order and the owner fixed it no charge as well! Highly recommend this place!

This is the cutest cafe, very close to Montmorency Falls. We got sandwiches, couscous salad, and cappuccinos and they were all delicious. The lady helping us at the counter was so sweet and very friendly.

Picture this: soft snow falling on the cobblestone streets of Petit-Champlain, fairy lights glowing, and the warm light spilling out of this beautiful little café. I ducked in both mornings of my short trip and could have happily stayed all day. The interior is perfect Québécois charm: exposed stone walls, wooden beams, cozy lighting, and that unbeatable smell of fresh baking. First morning I ordered the pistachio latte and the quiche Florentine. I would legitimately sell my firstborn for that pistachio latte: silky, perfectly balanced, with a rich, natural pistachio flavor that no syrup could ever match. One sip and I was ruined for life. The quiche was flawless: buttery, flaky crust, creamy spinach-and-cheese filling, baked to golden perfection. Absolute breakfast heaven. I braved a full-on snowglobe blizzard the next morning just to come back. This time I paired the same life-changing pistachio latte with the almond croissant. I'd hand over my other kid for daily access to these croissants (kidding... mostly). Impossibly crisp and flaky outside, cloud-soft inside, generously stuffed with fragrant almond paste, topped with toasted almonds and powdered sugar. I ate it slowly by the window while the snow piled up on Rue Notre-Dame and honestly felt like the luckiest person alive. The baristas were friendly, the vibe warm and unhurried, and everything was flawless. If you're in Quebec City, make La Maison Smith non-negotiable (and budget time to visit at least twice). Five stars isn't enough. This place is winter-morning perfection.

We both ordered lattes and almond pastries--hands down the best coffee and pastry of the trip! The atmosphere was lovely, too. From our little stools at the bar, we could sip our lattes while people-watching in the square outside. See you tomorrow and the next day too, Café La Maison Smith!

Location: 4/5 This location is located in the heart of Old Lévi, which is just a ferry away from Quebec City. We spent half a day here enjoying the city view across the river and having fun at the splash pad. It was a hot and sunny day, so we decided to cool ourselves off with a good old ice cream! Decor/Ambience: 4.5/5 Pretty spacious with amble amount of seating both outside and inside. It was super cute and yet not over the top! Such a family-friendly place and you can bring groups of friends with you, too! The lighting by the window was just perfect for a selfie! Food quality: 4.5/5 I love their Fall special five cream flavour, pumpkin, which I had along with 12 possible white or dark chocolate glazes. My beau chose a s'mores glaze and I chose a crunchy almond dark chocolate one. You can even add sprinkles and other toppings too, but we opted for a simpler taste. They even have poutine and fondues all dipped with chocolate if you like! Would definitely bring my future children here! I am sure they will love it. Service: 4.5/5 Service was really good. They explained their options of ice cream flavours as well as their glazes to us in both English and French. I appreciate the bilingualism! That way I can practice my French, while my beau still understands and can enjoy himself fully. Value: 5/5 Chocolats Favoris is a big chain here in Quebec! They even have an app where you can earn towards redeeming for free sweets!! Great treat for the whole family, kids, teens, adults and even seniors! With sizes ranging from baby, mini, regular to monster, you can choose how little or much you want to eat! Seriously, if only Toronto or Scarborough had this chain then I would be coming here every so often. Oh well, I will definitely come to here every chance I get when visiting Quebec City again. They have locations all across the city and province anyway. When I have children of my own, I will definitely bring them to one of their touristy locations, so that they too can enjoy the creaminess of the soft serve ice cream and the hardened white or dark chocolate glaze.
