Awesome spot for craft beer lovers. There's an extensive selection of beers on tap, in addition to a large variety of bottles - all from around the world. Each month they have a featured beer to try out. The bar is large and spacious, and is usually always full of groups having drinks - except for Saturday's lol. Why? Cuz there's no happy hour. Come on guys, how do you not have even just one hour of happy hour on Saturday? Speaking of HH, it's from 7-9pm every day except sat. Pints are around 7-8€ outside HH. read more

I went to Les Berthom with a local "Metzer" who knew this place like the back of his hand. As I was generally surprised by the small but vibrant and juvenile nightlife of this little Lorraine town, this bar fit right into our night. It was mostly crowded with students and young professionals. You could hardly find people above the age of 40. Needless to say, the choice of beers is great - which is also the Bar's unique selling point. Although a bit pricey, it is a great pleasure to drink yourself through the wide variety of mostly Belgian style beers (but beware the high percentage of alcohol!). I paid about 5-8€ per bottle, depending on what beer I choose. Like almost any other place in Metz, Les Berthom closed almost exactly at 2 a.m., which for me is much too early. However this is nothing which I could hold against them. The service and waiters are great and the cozy, familiar yet open vibe make it a really nice place to have a few. If you happen to pay a visit to Metz, check this bar out! read more

Very nice. -FRIES- they were good. seems like fries in this country are amazing -BURGER elsässer - pretty well made, delicious and worth it. Asked for added egg, cheese and extra house sauce. (drama comes with the extra sauce) -EXTRA SAUCE- they put MY SAUCE in another person plate, mind you I was paying. the person started eating my sauce and we noticed that MY SAUCE was actually not coming cause the sauce my friend was eating was MINE! I asked the waitress and told her what happened, she told me to take the sauce from my friend!!! ME FIXING THEIR MISTAKE AND PAYING FOR A SAOUCE THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN EATEN! Also now I was embarrassed to take the sauce and eat on my own ... i ended up sharing with everyone and again feeling guilty for THEIR MISTAKE!!! And the waitress never came back to the table during the meal to say anything about the error. That I CAUGHT cause i have to chase someone to ask where was my sauce!! The food is good. The service is GARBAGE. if you are from the USA like I am and are used to tip, just a reminder, in Germany u do not need to tip so don't! Their service here is terrible... The waitress was so bad and made so many mistakes for trying to hurry us and trying to make us feel bad for her mistakes that she actually asked another waitress to take our table over.
