I was a little confused at first but soon realized that you actually go inside to place your order and then they bring the food out to you. I ordered a glass of white wine and the shrimp salad. The wine was delicious and perfectly complimented the salad. The salad was good. It was a little small so I wish I had ordered something else because it didn't satisfy my hunger but it was super tasty! I loved the gorgeous views provided on the patio. Everything was just so nice. The staff were great. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Trier!

We discovered this place walking around town and decided to stop in and check it out. The shop is packed with French wine, champagne and a selection of aperitif and dessert wines. The owner was very friendly and spoke ok English. We spoke in a mixture of French and English and it worked a treat. I asked about a particular champagne and the owner popped open a bottle so we could sample. As he said to me "we are in France and why not ?". I loved the champagne and he kept pouring and I tasted some more ;-) Ended up buying a few things here and he gave us a free bottle of one of his favourites to try for later. I really enjoyed my visit here and would happily come here again. The wine bar is also quite popular with the locals but we did not get a chance to try it. Knowing the owner Serge it would not surprise me if the bar is also quite charming and friendly. An awesome wine shop in town.

The meal was prepared very well and the schnitzel was tender and cooked perfectly. The cranberry sauce paired well with the schnitzel. I will visit again if ever in this town. Just like a lot of German cities parking is hard to find. They store was also full of several varieties of wine to include red and white. I thought maybe you could sample wine like at some stores by purchasing a flight. I could not figure that out. The wine menu was in German.

You have two rooms to choose from: one that is more laid back and one that is more sophisticated and fancy. We went with the laid back room.
