When travelling in rural France friendly restaurants for the fussy veggie such as myself can be hard to find. This place is a gem. Recently renovated, its lovely and clean inside and very importantly for rural France the toilets are clean and modern! The menu is short and accessible. One or two dish of the day, a selection of salads and pizzas and a couple of fish and meat dishes. The staff are LOVELY and everything is made in the restaurant and is delicious. It is also very reasonable. 2 mains, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine came out at less than €40. The salade chevre chaud is to die for and this is a lot coming from someone who had that as their only veggie option for 3 years living in Paris and doesn't even like goats cheese! My better half had both the gambas and the salmon and he loved them both. read more
