We were at a nice table kind of in the middle of things, but we loved it. That day, we were asked to choose from the carnaval menu: entrée (terrine), plat (a wonderful and filling carbonade flamande), and dessert (tarte aux pommes). We found the place delightful and busy, and a great place to warm up and fill up on a very cold day in Dunkerque.

Unfortunately, we did not take photos but the prices are decent and a half carafe of Chardonnay wine is €10.50 and very good. I had it with fish and chips and my partner had steak tartare. We were happy to find somewhere to eat and good ambience, good food, and really great service. That is something also that you will not find on the beach as people get seated quickly and are without drinks and food for a while. I give this thumbs up.
