Outside you have a terrace overlooking the town hall, which is heated when it gets a bit too cool. And upstairs you have a nice little restaurants serving, amongst other things, the prize-winning potjevleesch - a selection of cold pressed meats in jelly, served with chips. Sounds disgusting but it's actually nice ! The menu is fully translated into English too, which is useful.

Maybe I'm still surprised when I get change from twenty euros... Only downside to this place is that it allows smoking inside. Though it is illegal across the EU, the French still want to puff on the sticks of cancer. This place doesn't give a damn where they do it, enclosed space or wherever. Not a pleasant experience when you're trying to give yourself cirrhosis of the liver by drinking.

There are a huge selection of local beers on offer, all delicious but lethal and mainly served in 75cl bottles to share.
