I can't thank you enough for getting my mohawk braids back in and you were so awesome!! Bonus you…read morecame to me and were available for night appts!!! I have been watching her for a while; I was a bit hesitant because of the high price for a crochet,…read morebut she was the only young lady I could find who does the invisible crochet she called "the vixen." I felt an evil eye in her energy, a bit childlike, but it didn't bother me. She showed three warning signs off the top. First, as soon as I got there, before I could sit down, she asked for the remaining balance, which I thought was odd. Second, she said I couldn't get the style I wanted in Vixen with Luv Me hair. I said, "Why not? They're doing it on TikTok." "She didn't believe me and made me show her, and time was when she said out loud, 'Wow, that's a lot of work they were doing; they own hair at that.' Then she said my hair would not look right, so I asked her a few times to let me reschedule for a later date when I have the right hair. All she said was no, and now she insists she can do it after she takes my money. I wasn't asking for a new style; I just wanted to correct my front hairline. And the third is: do not arrive early for your appointment; I was five minutes early, and she did not open her door until three minutes before, and she saw me at the door. She is skilled at deflecting and stonewalling. When I called her to resolve the issue, she first tried to say that I didn't even pay $300 for a vixen. Then she said, "I don't like my hair, and I want a new style," and that's far from the truth. She asked me to pay another $300 and set up a new appointment. Then she said, "If she thinks I'm going to pay $300 again, she's crazy." I simply wanted her to correct my hairline; after all, I had already paid $300, not including my $50 tip. After all, I do like my hair; I just wanted the Vixen Crochet. I will be taking this young lady to small claims court because I believe it's the right thing to do. I asked her a few times to bring all the recorded videos; she said she has the right to refuse to use them in court because they are hers. Why would a person say something like that? ~You are borderline robbing people~

I had a masseuse named Gabby who gave me a really incredible all-over body massage but was especially great with the scalp and neck massage. I had a lunch and then had a soothing facial and sugar scrub with Zara. She is lovely! I told my husband that presents for Mother's Day and birthdays are easy now, just get me this! I'd give it 6 stars if I could...

I had a 10am updo appointment scheduled for Friday, January 2nd for a wedding I was attending while…read morevisiting from out of town. I received an automated confirmation text two days prior, so I had no reason to believe there was an issue. When I arrived for my appointment, I found the salon permanently closed and the door locked. After some digging, I saw a Facebook post stating the business had closed, but relying solely on a Facebook post is not sufficient when the booking system is still active and sending confirmation texts. As an out-of-town client, there was no way for me to know my appointment was no longer valid. No call, no text, no cancellation notice. This was not a casual appointment -- it was for a wedding -- and the lack of communication forced me to scramble at the last minute. If a business is closing, booked clients should be proactively notified and all booking systems disabled. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication. Thankfully, I was able to find another salon last minute -- Primp and Blow Chandler -- who completely saved the day. Five stars to them for stepping in on short notice and doing an amazing job.
