I suggest anyone that feels blindsided or unsure about any kind of life-altering medication or surgical procedure, to take their time. It is your choice as to how to approach things. It is tough here to get consistent care because you need to schedule with a vet that you like. Dr Buscema, has been helpful and a good communicator. The technicians were Andrea, Roxan, and Lily. The procedures went well and my dog has recovered very well. This surgery was a precise surgical procedure because they shaved her eyelids. They then removed the cyst and added stitches. There are of course no guarantees as to how your pet will respond to treatment. I had also requested a callback about other testing and did receive a phone callback, this was appreciated and helpful. Sometimes as pet owners we have to take time to understand things. Keep in mind these people work very hard long hours. If you Suspect you need a visit, schedule ahead and cancel the day before if you aren't sure. Scheduling online is helpful. If you need an emergency you may have to wait up to four hours depending on, how many people are there. It is very convenient that they are open 24/7.

Vaccine induced sarcoma caused the death of another pet. Another red flag I know shame on me. Recently we went to have our pet looked at and the room was dirty and smelled. Mentioned it to the vet and the excuse was sorry we've been so busy. Unfortunately this pet had to be euthanized and last week I came back for her remains I did not take anything out of the bag until a few days later when I discovered they gave us the wrong pet. All the labels and tags were inside the bag when they gave it to me. Needless to say I will NOT be returning.

Not long after checking them out my pup told me it was time and we went immediately to them on a Friday morning when they opened. They had the perfect room for him. It was the corner one with the big window. My pup loved being outside and it was the perfect spot for him, he stared outside the window into nature. They gave us a whole cart of treats to give to him and the doctor and staff was so kind and compassionate. The staff from the very first time we walked in to the time I was called to pick his ashes up was absolutely amazing. It was the only time they truly saw him and it felt like they had cared for him so many times before. I couldn't of ask for a better place and staff to have my dog cared for. They were so kind to us and even complimented on how good he was but that was his demeanor, he was always kind and sweet. Thank you Scottsdale animal Hospital! You made a tough experience easy and smooth and made us feel welcomed.

They did not even attempt to reach me by phone to deliver those results. There is no excuse for results like that to have been delivered that way. It was insensitive, unprofessional, and lacked basic empathy and compassion. After this experience, I stopped bringing my dog here. She had her surgery at Thrive Pet Healthcare in North Scottsdale, where I had an incredible experience with every individual who worked there. Dr Radlinsky took her time with my dog, even sitting on the ground with her during her consultation. The difference in compassion and care was striking. I would never trust my dog with this practice again. I strongly recommend bringing your dog elsewhere.

The entire team is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. I always feel like we're getting honest, accurate information with clear explanations, and never any pressure. They let us make informed decisions for our pets without pushing unnecessary treatments or upsells. One of the biggest things that keeps us coming back is the fair pricing. For example, another vet near us quoted $80 more per injection for the exact same Cytopoint treatment. That kind of price difference makes the drive to Moon Valley more than worth it. They're also incredibly responsive--whether it's getting back to me with answers or fitting us in for an appointment. We've almost always been able to get a same-day visit or one within just a few days, which is such a relief when you're worried about your pet. We truly trust them with our animals' care and wouldn't go anywhere else.

They took the time to thoroughly examine him, run bloodwork, and take X-rays, which ultimately led to the heartbreaking discovery that he had bone cancer and would need to have his leg amputated. This was an incredibly difficult experience for me, but the care and compassion we received throughout the entire process meant so much. I cried more times at the clinic than I care to admit, and I asked what probably felt like a million questions. Not once did Dr. T or anyone on the front office staff make me feel silly, stupid, or like I was a bother or taking up their time. They were always patient, kind, and willing to explain everything to me. Axl is truly like my child, so trusting someone with his care is not something I take lightly. I am incredibly grateful for how well he was cared for and for the reassurance they gave me during such a scary time. The team handled it like absolute pros and whisked her away so I didn't have to watch the chaos unfold. From what they shared, Cat immediately demonstrated her Olympic-level wall-scaling abilities, but they managed to take care of everything we needed, AND walked me through a clear cost breakdown before doing anything, thank you! And were genuinely kind through the whole process. Cat is now home, safe, and pretending none of this ever happened. We'll be back for boosters... assuming I can outsmart her again.
