My convertible top had a small tear and minor cracking on the top's trim. This is not normally something Jack does, so he called in a friend with more expertise in this area. The two of them did a wonderful job repairing the tear and even touched up the cracks around the trim edges. My convertible top is likely to last several more years now. I was a little concerned that perhaps I would be taken advantage of financially, due to a lack of experience with what things like this should cost. I'm very happy to report that was not the case with Chilliwack Auto Glass. Jack doesn't seem like the kind of person that would rip people off, or overcharge. He seems very genuine and not at all money-hungry. You will get good value, for quality work, at Chilliwack Auto Glass. Jack is very friendly and personable. He's easy to talk to and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I would highly recommend Chilliwack Auto Glass and will be trusting any future upholstery repairs to Jack.

Volvo S40 doors having limited fabric were experiencing glue failure that was leading to the fabric…read moreseparating and having a loose appearance. Similar situation was happening to the headliner in certain areas. Isaac said he would order new fabric for the doors, as well as headliner, then schedule for reupholstering once the fabric arrived. In the meantime, Isaac did re-glue an area of the headliner as well as tuck some of the door fabric into the door trim to give a better appearance until reupholstering could take place. Unfortunately, the area Isaac glued on the headliner failed after two days. After 1.5 months of waiting to hear from Isaac, I decided to call to get a status update on when the fabric was arriving and the reupholstery service could be scheduled. Having not received a return phone call after two days, I called again. Isaac still has not responded. My recommendation is to skip Jerome's Custom Upholstery, specifically Isaac who handles auto reupholstery, and find an auto upholstery shop with better customer service with experienced upholstery installers. I value my time and money, so will seek an upholstery shop with similar values.

I spent $2k with Jerome's and it's money out the window. The workmanship was so bad. Piping was installed wrong. Welds done with JB Weld so brackets broke.

Over a year ago I took him a sofa and two chaise lounges cushions to recover. I finally had to cancel the sofa job because he would not get to it after 8 months sitting there waiting to be done. He had personal issues with an ailing wife so i cut him a lot of slack. The chaise cushions i could wait for til spring this year for so thought all was good. When i picked them today finally, he added $100.00 to his quote for them , I'd supplied to his agreement, new foam for them at a cost of $225.00 He reused old foam and KEPT the new pieces intended for them. This I discovered once home thinking that foam seems flattened like the old stuff was, IT WAS THE OLD STUFF! He said nothing & cheerfully kept the new foam plus the extra $100 and not even a thankyou for being so patient in waiting for the job to be done. He's dishonest, use at your own risk

There's a very strong cigarette smell that greets you as you enter that reminds me of days long past when many people used to smoke indoors. I should have taken that as a sign that this experience wasn't going to go well but I pressed on. I was, eventually, by an employee there, told it would take 3-4 weeks total to get the work done, left the cushions, along with a deposit. The project waited. I didn't want to call and check in or bother them, most people don't like that. At the 7 week mark, I was in the neighbourhood, stopped by. Nothing touched. Cushions staring at me exactly where I left them. I asked the same guy, what happened? "We've been busy" -him "Do you own a phone"-me He had a fair bit of trouble finding my invoice even though I had a pic of it on my phone to reference the deposit and it's existance. I took the cushions back and paid for the fabric which I now possess. The search for a reputable upholsterer continues. Nice to leave 1954 behind as I left. The smoke, brutal paperwork and ignorant customer service reminds one of days long gone, except at this business. I don't recommend this business. I think the above review explains why. Disappointed.
