A real hidden gem of a nature area, Leonardi Park is nestled at the end of Grange Rd., alongside the railroad tracks. There's a path that leads through the nature area, winding between lush trees and shade plants. There's a lot of evidence of wildlife around, and it's not uncommon you might see a few of them going about their business if you stay still enough for a while. It's a tiny little park, with only room for one car - maybe two, if parked considerately - at the trailhead. You can hear some traffic from 41, and the whole place shakes when a train goes by, but it's still a good location for spotting wildlife. Walk slowly so you don't startle any of them, as there are definitely skunks roaming back there. If you wanna see or get photos of foxes, this is a pretty good area. Not many people know about it, so you'll often have the place to yourself - just be sure to respect the area and tread lightly. read more
