Nothing more than a grifter…read more After explaining the entire situation, no detail left out, he told me how he could help me but first, not only would I have to give him a $3,500 retainer, I would also have to hire another attorney he recommended & together they would handle the situation leaving me sitting pretty in a couple years time. ALL Lies. I paid out both retainers and explained it put me in a very bad financial situation so they knew I couldn't come up with more money right away if additional funds were needed....One month later, the second attorney told me in writing that Josh said I had no case, she was not sure what he was working on for me. When I called to speak to Josh about it, he never took my call and kept me chasing him for over 5 months while he said he drew down my retainer...(he wasn't doing anything that helped me). As I hit bottom, this guy almost nailed the coffin shut - I was so shocked this was all legal, well legal if you weren't wealthy enough to continue hiring attornies. He took my money knowing I didn't have the financial means to do a thing about it. Real stand up guy!

After telling her all the things he could do and would do for her, the communication stopped. Even after she followed up with emails and calls, he didn't even have the decency to call her back, an 84 year old elderly woman that clearly needed guidance. Joshua made a curious comment to her that he wasn't going to make any money on this case so it was no surprise that he never called her back after he said he would get back to her to go over the next steps. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. No professional conduct whatsoever. It's one thing if you don't want to help because you're just in it for the money but at least have the decency to get back to someone so they're not sitting there as crucial days go by wondering what's going on and getting no response back after several calls and emails. This wasn't a mistake. Just a blatant disregard for someone's time and energy and misfortune. And judging by some of the other negative reviews about him, this is the same m.o. Is this really the type of person you want to fight for you? But then again, this is why lawyers have the stereotypical reputations that they do. If you know, you know. He is the epitome of that. If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

Brad has been my attorney for the past eight years, and I have nothing but the kindest words to say…read moreabout him (an unusual sentiment to express about an attorney, I know). He is extremely easy to reach and communicate with on the phone, and he assiduously represents his clients in the courtroom. Brad has consistently negotiated the best terms for me in all manner of traffic-related incidents, reducing fines, points, and related insurance costs I would have otherwise incurred. I've recommended him to every single one of my friends and acquaintances because of how impressed I am with his honesty, work ethic, and diligence. I've heard horror stories from people choosing to represent themselves or hiring shyster lawyers to represent them, but I can honestly say that it's only been smooth sailing - and driving - since Brad has been handling all these matters for me. He's a true pleasure to work with.

Very regretful to have worked with JCK law for our green card application. The responsiveness has…read morebeen very inconsistent and we are struggling to hear back in a responsive and efficient manner and get work done. Our repeated feedback has fallen on deaf ears and the process keeps being dragged as ball falls on our court while we are ready with all documents for submission. I imagine they are overworked or overburdened but this shouldn't happen to cases they have already decided to work on. While Sunjae was initially very responsive to our questions, once a payment was made responses haven't been timely and work on our forms had plenty missing and mistaken information on very basic aspects. We didn't receive any apologies after pointing these out and corrections and revisions take forever for them to make. Disappointed and wouldn't recommend. Making an addition here following the filing of our case. Sunjae filed the same picture as evidence for two different occasions despite our well organized folders of pictures as a couple. When I pointed the mistake out, no apologies, and coming up with suggestions as to how "we" as the couple can correct it.... I am baffled and really recommending against this company.

I originally filled out their web form before August 2020 and got no response. Then I called on August 2nd and was transferred from the receptionist to Sunjae Lee. He listened and explained how he wanted to proceed and would email some contract to start the services of them being my lawyer. I never received the email and 2 weeks past before I emailed them at their info@jcklaw. First email.. ignored. Second email was where I asked, "Is anyone reading emails?" I finally got a reply with a simple 'sorry for the late reply.' This has been one month since I first tried contacting them. He told me two options. How do I want to proceed. I laid out my plan and wanted to try another method, and it's been nearly a month with no response again. I believe they are only looking for "cookie cutter" cases. Where every case can be churned/processed with minimal effort on the lawyers part. Any case that seems to require innovative thinking or sharpening their barrister skills, instead of just filing paperwork for clients gets ignored but not turned down, just wait it out till the potential client finds another law firm.
