Most flew in and out, taking quick simple glass measurements and they were gone in 5 minutes. Whiddon was not only the best quote, but I noticed (compared to the others I got quotes from) was the copious amount of notes they took. Not just a quick measurement. But noticed other things I wasn't expecting him to notice, like an installation defect from the builder that even I overlooked. I knew if they were this meticulous for a free quote, they were the obvious choice.

My husband and I recently decided to upgrade our kitchen counter tops from the original…read moreformica/laminate to a granite option. We landed on Spartan Stoneworks after several great recommendations, and we're so glad we did! Ember contacted us with multiple style options, and had someone come out to measure our counters while we continued to decide on the granite. I was able to text Ember directly with my questions, and she always got back to me very quickly. I must have received 20 different options from Ember, always keeping my style in mind. Within a couple of weeks after we landed on the granite design we wanted ("colonial white"), and it was cut and then installed in 1 day. To make things even easier, our under-mounted sink came from Spartan so it could be installed all at the same time. Our new counter tops are absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you to Fernando and his team for doing such a beautiful job - we are so happy with our new kitchen!!

I am sorely disappointed in the service with this company. We were doing a new build and they…read morehurried out to do the template once the counters were installed... they had to return to do the small counter in the utility room. We had to wait several weeks afterward for them to return to do the install- Ember said they had 3 kitchens ahead of us (they had picked up some work in Port St Joe after the hurricane). After the install, counters were not level, they had shimmed up the cabinets because they said they were not level (these were brand new custom made cabinets and were pretty level) and that completely through all of the cabinet doors off. There was also not enough room for the stove so that also required shaving down the stone some. So, after Embers very poor and very unprofessional attitude towards my builder, they did come back and fixed those issues and they had to return to cut a hole. The stone itself that we had purchased from an independent stone company was very nice but the install was what I'd call average. The unfortunate event that I occurred was the fact the faucets were not there and I had left all of the faucet info there for them but do not think they looked at it. Now that the faucet is here, we need a couple more holes drilled and they refuse to come back out. They are finished with us and I'm assuming their 3 year warranty (bogus?) as well. As I told Ember, the lack of professionalism here is beyond reproach and they are not standing behind their customers. Unfortunately, some things happen beyond our control that we cannot help and she acts as though this is all of our fault. So... suffice it to say, we are absolutely not happy with Spartan and I do NOT recommend them in any way!! Do not let these stone fabricators handle your install!

The company experience starting from the sales pitch to the finished product showed through their customer service attitude, the roofing expertise, the inspections, and the business administrative staff. They explained the process and schedule and did everything as planned. Mr. Arnold (owner) was onsite everyday reviewing the work to ensure everything was as it should be. He discussed everything up front so there would be no surprises. The team showed up early or ontime everyday and finished as planned. When they finally did the install, they did a pathetic job of installing the gate opener. Over a two-week period they seemed to try half-heartedly to determine the problem, after we told them twice they had put in bad batteries (yes, two dead batteries, one after the other). The solar panel was never mounted properly. I finally got tired of waiting on them to "figure out what the problem is" and spent one hour working on the set up. I put a good battery on it, mounted the solar panel properly, and it is working fine. The next day after I got it working they came back with a good battery, but still not a battery box with a lid. Just a plastic box on its side with the battery stuck in it. Pehaps the worst business in Tallahassee I've ever had to work with. I almost forgot to mention that on one of the times they had someone working on the gate, I arrived home. I started talking to them, and by the time I walked away one of the guys implied that I had cut wires on the system, that they would never leave wires like that. Total BS, they were the only people to work on the system.
