Every time you call you speak to someone different you never have the same person twice unless it's pure chance. You can call for a question and never get an answer, then they will tell you how sorry they are but meanwhile you still didn't get the service you needed. Leo Insurance just called to tell me that I need to find a new agent for my brother's policies because he is incarcerated until August 2020. He has had his insurance with them for years and has multiple cars. My father died last week and my brother inherited a classic car which I was getting ready to add to the policy. I have been dealing with this insurance company for over 3 years. I got a letter in the mail telling me that I would need to re-instate my policy so I called and asked how much longer I needed this policy for to ensure my license wouldn't be suspended. They told me they had no idea and I had to call the DMV. After being on the phone with the DMV for 2 hours, I was told that as of January of this year, I was no longer required to pay for it. I called this group to cancel my policy and get a refund for the extra money that was not required as of January to keep my license. Mind you, we are now in September and they have been taking money directly out of my checking account for the time I have needed them to insure me. That is well over 6 months of throwing money away. I called both parties and they said I was responsible for knowing when to stop paying them. They told me it was a one way street and I was responsible overall. Since they are not holding themselves responsible for conducting bad business, the only thing they could offer me was to stop the future payment for September and there's nothing else they can do for me. This is unfair, dishonest, and utterly disrespectful. I would not recommend using this company for anything. Spend the extra money to get agents/brokers who care about doing good business and taking care of their customers no matter what. read more
