I went in for my newly scheduled appointment, and was told after waiting about 7-10 minutes that there was no appointment on record for me. I finally got my time in the studio and my photographer was AMAZING! I don't want to lie about his name, but he was the only cool white guy there, and had just returned from Europe doing photography there. The pictures came out amazing on screen. Here is where things start to go sour again. My sales rep, Lisa, was NOT the real deal! Her service wasn't very proper to be working in a photo studio. I have had better service at Portrait Innovations (family pictures taken as recent as in November 2011) and Olan Mills. From recommending a better finish on pictures, to being patient with selecting pictures, to helping with order sheets and the order process in general (including delivery and pickup of pictures), things should be revamped, or maybe the rep retrained. Anyway, today is past the 2 weeks for my pictures to arrive, and I will be calling tomorrow to check on the status of my order. I can only hope that the service over the phone will be better and that my pictures are here sooner, rather than later.

We had scheduled a secondary maternity shoot when I was pregnant with my second baby, but ended up having to cancel because he arrived 6 weeks early. She worked with us super easily on getting the money we had already paid transferred over to pay for the balance of our newborn shoot instead and it was super easy. She is absolutely fantastic to work with. She makes sure that you're getting exactly what you want and honestly by the second time working with Rachel, I just gave her full control over the photos and they still came out exactly how I wanted. With both babies, she went above and beyond to help make a custom photo that went with the theme in their nursery and both times they came out amazing. Her Santa Sessions are the absolute best. We had our first baby in 2020 so mall Santa photos were not an option and that's when Rachel opened up her Santa Sessions. We had always done the 5 minute sessions because with a baby, that worked best, but she offers 15 minutes sessions as well where kiddos can have genuine time with Santa that's great for older kids. she also offers other kinds of photoshoots such as family, mommy and me and a ton of others. We moved out of state before we got the option to do any other kinds, but I would definitely 10/10 recommend Rachel if you're anywhere near the Tampa area and need a photographer for any kind of event.

I am not sure if this is a typical thing or not but I've read that her assistant has been present during other photo shoots. The pictures after edits came out beautiful and I was happy with the majority of the pictures. One picture my thigh was extremely photoshopped to seem smaller but did appreciate all the bumps on my thighs being smoothed out. I don't regret doing the photo shoot because I have beautiful pictures that captured my pregnancy journey and this is going to be my one and only child. Prior to the session, Rachel made sure to let me know when I needed a break... At first I thought I could push through but I needed multiple breaks and Rachel has snacks and water handy. My mom and the father were included in the shoots and Rachel helped with poses for each pic. I think that Rachel picked up that the hammock shoot was not all coming together as what I had in mind so she did offer me an alternative look to use which came out great. She ensured that different poses were completed during the session. Rachel even took a picture of my mom solo which she didn't have to and it was a beautiful picture. Rachel has a closet of beautiful dresses and materials to choose from.

And I am so happy we were able to work with Amanda, because she exactly that kind of artist. She came out to take some family portraits of us on the beach a few weeks ago and we had a wonderful session with her.
