As per other reviews the front desk staff can be hit or miss, but once you're in you feel completely taken care of. Being in healthcare, I have to respond to previous Yelper MH: it is in fact the law that all children over 12 in NC must be asked if they would prefer their parents or guardians to leave the room while the provider discusses sensitive medical concerns with the patient, AND the provider is legally obligated to NOT discuss what was said with the parents unless the patient gives permission, with a few very particular exceptions. Just FYI. Anyways Durham Pediatrics is a wonderful place as long as you plan extra time to make it through the waiting room. Check them out!

Bull City Family Medicine tried to get us to commit insurance fraud by asking my son and I to fake…read moresymptoms so they could run unnecessary tests on my son and charge my insurance company. Then they wrote him a prescription that he couldn't get filled because you have to be over 18 to get the medication they prescribed - and he is 16. Then they scheduled a follow up appointment to see how he was doing on the medication he couldn't legally get. When we didn't show because why would we when we didn't get the medication - they charged me 90$ for a no show appt because their front office and back office don't communicate. Then they said they'd waive the fee. Then they sent it to collections. The people at the desk yell and feel I'm to blame for the fact that their back office didn't communicate with the folks in reception. I didn't see a doctor which was the original request I saw a nurse who refused to see me again when I wouldn't participate in insurance fraud. This place needs to be shut down. 9/30/2025

Pretty frustrating experience here - arrived for a scheduled angiogram in the pediatric radiology…read moredepartment and was told that there was a problem with the order and they weren't sure it would get done today... After my daughter had worked up the nerve to get the procedure (catheter IV is no fun) - to be told it might not happen was not what we needed to hear. After waiting 35 minutes past our appointment time (we got there early, too!), they called my daughter back. I said, "Are you sure that she can have this today, since there was an issue?" and the gentleman said, "Yes, she should have told you that" (referring to radiology intake. Anyway, so we went back, the nurse who inserted the IV in my daughters arm was friendly enough but did not do a very good job of inserting the plastic catheter and hurt my daughter, who burst into tears. Not a good start... Waited another 15 minutes, got called back to actual CT scan area. The nurse who helped us in there was wonderful. Very patient and explained everything. Overall, just glad it's over. Paid $4 to park as well, just FYI.
