whoa boy, let me tell you. its been such a long time since i had anything done, but it was time to…read moreget my pipes cleaned! i googled the nearest company as i required some extra care for my needs. before I knew it i had 3 guys at my door ready to service me! i let them in and showed them the goods and they each took their turns going over and making sure i was satisfied! and boy was i! Ive had my pipes cleaned before, even took some turns with different services to see which one pleased me the most. some would just dig in and get right to it, which is fine but in my experience its always more efficient to gently work your way around and get acquainted before the action starts. these guys were great and experiencing their work was something ill never forget. i mean these guys really laid down some serious pipe. by the time they were done the place was a mess but they went above and beyond and took the time to clean up as well! i never been serviced like this before and ill be sure to tell everyone about it! now i just gotta find someone to unclog my sink.

Called for another service the technician stated that was the wrong filter, " must not have had the right size". Not only is it the wrong filter size it leaving unfiltered air into the system it's placed on the wrong place. Filter should be in filter box. Gerry Palermo stated that's the way we do it.

In November 2023, Clay's installed our replacement water heater and expansion tank for $3,040.43. The expansion tank was left hanging from the CPVC piping, and I could see the pipe bowing under its weight. We recently called Ace because water was collecting in the water heater's drain pan and leaking onto the floor instead of draining away. We wanted the pressure relief valve addressed. During the visit, the plumber also pointed out how the expansion tank was hanging and recommended correcting the installation. I understood that they were fixing the support arrangement from their original work. I did not learn that the expansion tank itself was considered bad and needed replacement until I received the bill. During a subsequent phone conversation, Ace acknowledged that they should have discussed the expansion tank with me before doing the work. The expansion tank installation package was $532.96. After a $50 discount and tax, I paid $514.96. Ace emphasized that it hadn't charged for the pressure relief valve, and the invoice shows that item at $0. My concern was the additional replacement and cost being presented after the work was done. The work also changed the original piping arrangement to provide better support. The drain-pan concern remains unresolved. This follows $8,727.12 in bathroom work that left gaps, holes, and poor caulking and finishing. I paid another $500 for compound and painting around the bathtub after negotiating a lower finishing bill. Other defects were subsequently corrected at no additional charge, which I appreciate, but getting the bathroom finished required additional money and follow-up. My original praise reflected that experience. This update reflects what happened afterward. I expect installation work to be supported by the company that performed it, jobs to be finished properly, and additional replacements and charges to be discussed beforehand. Based on our overall experience, I can no longer recommend Ace Home Services.
