If each person spent $ at a small business instead of a big online retailer, imagine how much money would be reinvested into our local economy. I took that message to heart. I've been frequenting Ginger13 for years, and supporting Cindy is always a joy. She creates truly one of a kind pieces, and her aloha spirit shines through in everything she does. You don't just shop here. You feel welcomed and inspired. I spent nearly two hours in the store just days before Christmas, and narrowing down my choices was nearly impossible. Every corner is filled with beautiful, thoughtfully curated items, all at incredibly reasonable prices. On top of that, Cindy offers exceptional customer service. They have a clearance items rack which was between 20 - 40% off. One of the dresses I wanted was out of my size, I checked on-line and notice they had it available. The associate suggested I return in a couple of days and she will have it ready for me. I could have had it shipped to my home, but felt I needed to try it on first. Love this place, so difficult for me to buy clothes I'm satisfied with. Love their prints, and the styles are comfortable, casual enough for play and you can dress up with beautiful accessories they sell and wear to work. I'm hardly at Ala Moana, but this will be my go to store for clothes shopping. Looking forward to going to work in my beautiful new dresses. Can't wait to return!!!!!

It's been YEARS since I've stepped foot into Step N Up and it's so refreshing to make a visit again! The directions to the store is a little bit tricky. The best way to get here AND to avoid traffic with left signal turn-ins is to take the freeway to here exiting king st on 25A. The store is located in its own park lot between fukuyama & the humane society -- so i would drive steady when you find the store. The store was clean & they open 9a-5p on Saturdays. The parking is a bit tight but i was able to find one. Sure enough, the store is tidy and organized. This is a great store for your dancers and studios! The ladies at the front were very helpful! I needed new dance tights and they assisted with sizing and by skin tone preference. I also got new pirouettes and something to know is that they don't go by street size shoes-- they are sized by the width of your foot. I got the color and sizing that I was looking for overall! There are lots of items in stock. If you're looking for something specific, I'd call ahead of time just in case. When you're ready to check out, make sure you tell them which studio you dance for so that you could earn a 10% off discount :)
