A very cool thing they have is... every time you play there you accumulate reward points to use towards your next round. For the average golfer, getting $5 off after visiting there is a nice thing. The bar area is very nice. You get a hot dog at the turn when you show your greens fee. Nicole is a great item and person handling that area. She is very personable and fun to talk too.

This is a Great Course to play on Fridays and Saturdays but avoid this place like the plague…read moreweeknights. Leaks take over this place Monday through Thursday and they are abusionally slow and the management refuses to do Anything about it. I get it leagues make courses money, but they open up tee times after leagues and we pay too. And I'm talking they won't even do basic little things like have someone go out there and enforce ready golf. That alone would make a huge difference. I managed to get in six holes in two hours and 15 minutes today. If you choose to go on a weekday or during the weekend, this is a Great Course the greens are fast and firm and the course is always kept in great shape, although they are doing some pretty significant maintenance work around some of the holes it's still extremely playable. When there aren't leagues around this is probably a four maybe even five star public course. If you make the mistake I did going out and wanting to get in some golf on league nights (M-Th) it's a one star course, just go somewhere else.

There is just one portable public toilet here, so, if you have any event you would want to plan accordingly. The parking lots are in good condition, however, compared to the size of the park they are rather small. The neighborhood is quiet where the park is located. There is a mix of play equipment. Some classical slides and 'merry-go-round'. One slide is super tall. There is also a more modern play area. There is plenty of walking space. The ball field is in good condition for baseball and softball. When dry the fields should be fine for volley ball.

The park is within walking distance of the library and also has a small basketball court and a baseball diamond (with bleachers and a drinking fountain). I love that it's so removed from the road--I can let the kids run up and down the hills without worrying about traffic. We spent time here as much as possible.

Their knowledge is beyond my current golf experience and capabilities, but that is why I went to the best. I needed some clubs that would work for me and that would get me on a path to enjoy golf. They did not just want to sell me a set of clubs, they wanted to make sure what I was buying was the best fit. I never give a bad review but I feel the need to say something…read more My mother passed away at the end of January 2018 and I wanted to find a place for her Celebration of Life (she did not want a funeral). I was very upset and since I live in another state I was very stressed about securing a rental hall for June 2018. My mom was a hunter, a fisherman and loved the outdoors so I wanted something she would have wanted. I called the number for the Jackson County Outdoor Club hall rental. I got a voicemail that just told me the number I reached...no name was given. Not knowing for sure who this was, I left a message. Needless to say, I called several more times (without leaving a message) with no response. I then got a call from Rachel. She was very angry with me for calling so many times and informed me "she did have another job"! I told her how sorry I was and told her I had no idea because of her voicemail not giving any details. She then told me not to call again until after 5pm...but she would call me instead. Well, by 6:30pm she had not called me so I called her, again. Went right to voicemail, I left a brief message asking her to please call me back. She never did! Since then I found another place for my moms memorial. I believe that Rachel was very unprofessional and she should at least have a message that this number was her personal phone but she also works for Jackson County Outdoor Club, that she works another job and she will return your call after 5pm. I truly hope she does not treat everyone this way because if she does, it doesn't reflect well for the Jackson County Outdoor Club business!
