My husband and I were in Adrian last month for the first time in nearly 20 years. I wanted to visit the graves of my grandparents, aunt and cousin but couldn't remember where they were. We wandered around the cemetery for an hour without success. Even though the office was closed, I decided to try the door, which was locked. But as I was leaving, a nice man opened the door and offered to help me. Even though he didn't have to, he pulled all the files and let me look at the obituaries and other papers, and then told me where to find the graves. I was blown away by his kindness. Even though I hadn't been to the cemetery in decades, it looked beautiful and well kept.
