I called to order birthday flowers for a friends 95th birthday. The woman on the phone rudely asked…read morewhen her birthday was. I said her birthday is Sunday and I know this is mothers day weekend so they can be delivered anytime. She said I cant do that. I asked for Monday after Mothers day she said she would ask. Her tone was very rude the entire time. She came back and told me she could not help me at all. I said when can you deliver flowers. She said, we cant. I read the reviews saying that this floral shop was rude but thought if I was very nice they would be as well, they were not. I am a retired floral designer from a large floral shop in Houston, Texas, I understand how busy mothers day is. There was no reason for the rudeness. I suppose when you are the only floral shop in town you can be rude and refuse business at a whim. I spent my $150.00 on something other than flowers. No wonder the Floral business is dying with people like this. I hope when their floral business closes due to lack of business they will become happier nicer people. I doubt it.

I could not have been more embarrassed. it looked like it was made from leftover scraps. My brother-in-law,not a professional, made much nicer arrangements. I was billed over $180 for an arrangement that I would not pay $10 for if I had known what I was ordering. Card looked like it was written by a child. Card had names of both Adams Florist and Cottage Florist and not sure how they are connected. I would not recommend either one. No attempt was made to contact customer regarding changes. Not sure what is hanging at the bottom but horrible. Sorry I even have to give them one star; it is not deserved. Also, disappointed Avas would use such a florist. Have used them in the past and was satisfied but will look elsewhere in the future.
