It's totally understandable that half your staff is at lunch, but so are many other people who can only make personal calls on lunch. I have never in my life received a bill for a well-woman's exam until I visited this office. I called to get a better understanding of why I occurred charges and was extremely upset at the feedback! (Because they did one test, they automatically perform an addition test (which is what I was charged for) and on-top of that, they did not do 'all' the test I usually receive (ie, blood work, testing for all STDs, etc.)) So, if money is not an issue for you (as it is a college student who doesn't enjoy surprise bills), then yes, visit Dr. Johnson. Otherwise, do not go to this office unless you find out before your visit what is all inclusive in the visit! Again, Dr. Johnson was enjoyable; it was the billing that I did not like from the billing department.

They are slow to acknowledge you at the window. On Friday the 31st I was supposed to have a blood draw to check my A1C,. Upon my arrival I found the office to be closed. I called after the holiday and was told that they were on the emergency room side. The doors were locked and no cars in the parking lot. I don't have an emergency, so why would I go to the emergency room side of this clinic. Today I showed up for my appointment and was told I had the wrong date. I was told one thing on the phone and apparently it got switched. I'm tired of the rude, smug front staff. I will be looking for a new doctor.
