After many doctors opinions, and pain management I decided to take my health in my own hands and not continue the invasive/surgical approach they were suggesting. Went to Vogel Acupuncture once and have not been back since. NOT because it was a bad experience,…read morebut because I have not felt as though I needed to. The acupuncture was great, but what I really took away from my appointment was the deep importance Christopher put on overall health. We talked fairly in depth about nutrition, health, and balance during the treatment. His love for creating complex green smoothies actually led me down a path of investing in a high quality blender and packaging & freezing my smoothie ingredients in the same manner he showed me (it is a home-office, and he took me into his kitchen to show me his setup). Honestly, I don't know how to rate acupuncturists, but the experience was WELL worth the $30 co-pay (he accepts some insurance) I paid. Two thumbs up for doctors who promote health and sickness prevention over responsive therapy, drugs, and treatments!

As a result, patients are being advised to make sure a facility is safe and personnel are trained and certified. When I asked about safety, machine maintenance, and staff qualifications, Cheryl was defensive and hung up on me. HBOT can be great but is also a dangerous medical treatment with risks. There are NO medical personnel, no one certified in HBOT care at this facility. She said, "we fly under the radar". I was really freaked out by her demeanor and defensiveness.

Like the previous commenter stated, she really understands how to treat whatever is ailing you by treating underlying issues you might not be aware of. For me, I went in for a recurring medical issue, turns out it more had to do with built up stress and anxiety. and with my treatment with her i have noticed i have been getting better and better. She really knows how to open you up without feeling interrogated or like you are at a therapist's office. She is very relaxed and professional... and just honestly a sweet person. Her space is nothing fancy which I honestly kind of like and she does take insurance otherwise it would be a bit too pricey for me. I would recommend her to any of my close family members or friends in a heartbeat.

She is a person who really understands healing…read more I went to her with crippling knee pain that not only discontinued my marathon training but made walking difficult as well. After one session with her, I could walk again. After two sessions with her pain was absent from the affected area. What is more than the absence of pain was that the affected area grew stronger as well. Patricia's bedside manner is patient and kind. She seems to possess an intuitive sense for what is wrong. One of the most refreshing aspects of Patricia's practice, for me as a patient, is the feeling of being understood. This quality brought me to put faith in her ability to facilitate my healing. More than relieve the pain, Patricia has heightened my awareness of the root of my dis-ease, which, on an ongoing basis, I am observing my overall health to be elevated as well. Good luck. I hope you feel better.
