I've had plantar fasciitis for years and have treated it half ass with home remedies, but it has gotten worse due to neglect. On my first visit, they took an X-ray and ultrasound of both feet. Dr. Vogel identified the problems and thoroughly explained to me what he saw so that I could get a better understanding. He recommended I try some inserts and come back in two weeks. He also offered a few other suggestions. The inserts I got from the office gave me results. My feet aren't as sore and tender after being on my feet all day. Same in the morning. He recommended custom orthotics, but wanted me to check with my insurance provider first since they aren't cheap. I like this office and feel like my feet are in the right hands. Hate that I waited so long to seek relief. The staff is friendly and there hasn't been any waiting for my appointments. The office also has a bin in the lobby to collect shoes to donate to charities.

They made a special pad for my feet to help support my feet while inserts were being made. The inserts were a life saver. Dr. Vogel knows what he is doing, he talks to you (not AT you), his staff is friendly and professional, and best of all, they have variable office hours throughout the week. This was great for my work schedule. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Vogel and I will never go anywhere else.

They also said my NP who prescribed my medication was off that day and and another attending would not write a script without seeing me first for another $179. What... I guess the other attending couldn't read my file, or even make a phone call to the NP??? This place is nothing but a money grab, forget being cared for like they care about you, it's all about the money!!!!!

I quickly found out why she got some negative reviews - she is a little dry and sarcastic. Some might take offense to this. I think she is hysterical. I have seen Dr Longstreet 3x and all 3 she has listened to me and has been open minded. No issues with medication changes or refill requests. I felt like she took the time to hear me out and took my opinions into consideration. I don't expect a PCP to know everything, they just need to be willing to find someone who does and admit they don't always have all the answers. As mentioned before, the office staff is good too. It's a fairly large practice, but someone has always gotten back to me quickly and is always friendly. No issues with billing or scheduling either. No long waits at the office or lab so far.
