We started working with Nicole over two years ago as a referral from a close friend who spoke very highly of her. As first time home buyers, my husband and I were basically clueless and had no idea just how complex the Bay Area real estate market is. Nicole helped us navigate these waters with ease, and educated us about the complexities of disclosure packets and purchase contracts well in advance so that when the time finally came, we'd be familiar with such detailed documents. Pre-covid, Nicole spent an entire Saturday driving us to houses in various neighborhoods so that we could see what different cities offered and to help us narrow down our home search based on what we saw. We also attended several open houses together and she always kept an eye out for homes that fit our criteria and attended broker tours on our behalf. We also continued working with Nicole throughout the pandemic and experienced first hand how the original interaction model had to change. Without any open houses, I felt like Nicole had to pour even more time into our search because covid policies required individual appointments to view each home. Nicole was patient with us as we viewed what seemed like 20+ homes during a nine month period. She is respectful of your opinions, but will also share her professional opinion when requested. We ultimately found a home and throughout the entire closing process, not only did Nicole help us, but so did her team. We were in the best of hands and there weren't any hiccups. Together, this team guided us every step of the way with constant communication. DocuSign was used to electronically sign all documents and keys were left in a lockbox when the home was officially ours! In fact, with their help, we were able to close a week earlier than expected! As you can tell, we obviously spent a lot of time with Nicole (she was stuck with us for two years!) and we enjoyed every minute of it. She's great to be around and extremely insightful. Finally, I want to share a story from when my husband and I first started going to open houses a few years ago. When we told other agents who our realtors were (we just would say "carol and Nicole") and they *always* knew who we were talking about. Nicole and Carol have created a reputation that is built upon trust, professionalism and extensive market-specific knowledge.

I was working with a different agent previously and it was not a good relationship, but switched over to have Nicole assist me after recommendations from people at work. Nicole was super patient and took me around to view multiple listings on our first appointment. She was super knowledgeable about the area having more than 20 years of experience. She also walked me through all that I needed to know as a first time buyer, and quickly built trust and made me feel comfortable with her representing me. At every step of the process, she personally walked me through it, explaining to me what all the documents in the housing disclosure package were for, and what I should be looking out for. Most importantly, she was always on my side. Nicole and Carol work together as team and I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely be working with them again in future!

The others might not even recognize those blessings. In the course of my life, I have met many wonderful people who have engraved indelible memories in me. Meeting Lan Bowling was one of the significant events I cherish. Although my friend encouraged me to talk to her and passionately said how great she was, I reluctantly contacted her because of our last experience with a real-estate agent. My husband and I had been looking for a new house for a year, but we had a hard time discovering a new home. Having two-year-old twins was our prime reason to move to a bigger place where our twins could play in the house without worrying about bothering our neighbors. Furthermore, staying in Mountain View was crucial for my husband's work and my business. Our first meeting was on the phone. She asked us questions to understand what we needed. We told her about our budget, location, the size of a house, the reason for moving, and our concerns. Listening to our unceasing questions, LAN answered all the questions and guided us about what we should do. After talking to her, we felt hopeful. About thirty minutes after our conversation, Lan called us to inform us about some places we should consider. We liked one place, but the price was beyond our budget. We asked Lan if we'd like to put an offer below the asking price. She explained the value of the place and the rejection we would have, yet she prepared all the paperwork for us to move forward. As she explained to us, our offer was rejected. After more searching, we found one place, but she pointed out some issues we might encounter. She even remembered all the things we had told her and reminded us to make sure we were making the right decision. After several attempts to claim our future home, Lan went to all the places without us to evaluate the properties to enlighten us about their pros and cons. With our limited budget, we almost moved to a different area, far from Mountain View. However, Lan reminded us about what was most important to us. Thanks to Lan, we found our beautiful home, where we enjoy living and raising our twins. Along with finding our dream home, Lan helped us with her professional knowledge and genuine care. It was a great blessing for us to meet Lan, who shared her heartfelt help.

Overall, she not only cares for us as a realtor, but she truly treats us as her own family (our kids love her and always ask us when we can see her again!) She would proactively screen properties for us, noting which properties she felt would be worth us visiting in person to help us decide whether or not we would want to put an offer. She is deeply knowledgeable about Palo Alto and Los Altos, and knows exactly which streets / areas have which nuances, pros and cons, and other things that we might want to consider. When we went to open houses with her, she would pay a lot of attention to small details and note things that are easily fixed or things that would cost more time/money to solve. During the house buying process, Lan truly considers what is suitable for your family and your specific situation. She also has high integrity, and truly spends her highest effort to secure your desired property for the lowest possible price (she doesn't wish for her clients to overpay for properties). She responds to all texts and calls in an extremely timely manner, which is imperative in house buying situations as buyers/sellers may be very nervous. She spent hours discussing various properties with us, as well as things we should consider etc. when looking at a specific property. During the day in which we gave our offer, Lan and John were very prompt in preparing everything we needed, and we would not have been able to secure the property we liked if it weren't for Lan's superior negotiation skills. Even after we successfully closed, Lan continues to offer us guidance on recommending arborists, contractors, handymen, etc. as we prepare to move into our new home. We still keep in frequent contact with her and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to buy or sell their home. She treats all her clients with extreme care, like her own family.

Audrey is very professional and knows the local market well, but what I appreciated most is that she is honest. Their advice was about what was right for us, not about closing a deal fast. The other thing that stood out is how they work as a team. Our house is older and needed a lot of work. Their handyman took care of a long list of repairs, and Elve, their designer, worked with the staging team to make the place look great. Both were part of their service, so no surprise bills. Their in-house legal team went through the disclosure documents very carefully, which gave us real peace of mind. Everyone on the team got back to us quickly. A few years ago, due to life circumstances, I had to sell a house after owning it for a few years. I was worried that either it wouldn't sell or that I would lose money overall. They excelled at marketing, making the most out of all real estate app platforms and different types of media to make your home stand out, and these things do matter. There were minor hiccups with communicating with vendors during house preparations for selling but they were clarified right away. When it came to getting offers, they exceeded my expectations and I ended up selling with profit! Last but not least, I had the pleasure of working with Jason this year to buy a new home. As a solo buyer, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find anything with the constant competitive market. Jason was very friendly, patient, responsive, and informative. The home buying journey is an emotional rollercoaster and I couldn't have done it without him. During stressful bidding wars, he was always looking out for me and made sure that I understood and felt comfortable with what numbers I put out. Even though he was busy with many clients, he made sure to take the time to comfort me during these emotional moments. When we encountered an unethical seller agent, he advocated for me. Jason is constantly working and no matter what time it is, he was available to answer questions. I had to remind him to take breaks! He is also well connected and because of that, it helped with negotiation when it mattered the most -- winning my home at below asking price. When it came to closing, my timeline was tight because of an upcoming international trip. However, the team worked hard with my lender to make sure I successfully closed RIGHT before my trip. I highly recommend Jason and will definitely reach back out to him when I sell this home!
