Should be called Best Barber Shop…read more Ryan's been running this shop for years and I've been recommending him to my friends and family for just as long. When I share the recommendation I tell them it's more of an experience than just a hair cut. Call for an appointment and he will get you in at a time and day that work for both of your schedules. You will be welcomed into his properly appointed establishment with a smile and he will most likely be finishing up with his previous client. Just take a seat and chill or stroll around and take a gander at his art and taxidermy. Once he finishes with the previous client, you can take a seat in his chair while he handles payment and scheduling with them. Ryan will ask you what you want and set your expectations accordingly. You can get a cut or shave or beard trim or a combination of the bunch. I'll admit the prices are most likely more than you're used to, but I promise that the experience and the results will be worth it. He's got a lifelong customer here and I have a feeling you will end up being one too.

As other reviews stated, Ron greeted us like we had been there a million times - very friendly and kind. He helped the previous client up out of the chair, brushed him off and helped him put on his jacket! I knew I came to the right place for my Dad. As Dad got trimmed, Ron put on Herb Albert's Tijuana Brass Whipped Cream album (which was for sale along with a bunch of other stuff). Dad got a great cut and I bought some fun stuff for a buddy's rec Room! Win win.

Very pleased. The man is serious about his craft. He's professional, but also very welcoming and easygoing. Always a story, always a joke, always a good time. His knowledge also extends beyond the shop; and if he doesn't know, he's sure to point you in the right direction. His prices are more than reasonable; I challenge you to look anywhere else in the city to get consistent quality and an all around great experience comparable to what he charges.

I stopped in here not knowing this shop but seeing a "Barber" sign I decided to give it a try…read more It wasn't the immediate friendliest of atmospheres when I walked in but I stayed and waited until I was up for the next chair. The barber asked how I liked my hair cut and I gave him the particulars. While the cut itself was good that was all that I got. I conversation even when I tried to spark yo one and never did he pull out a straight razor and shave my neck or above my ears. This is my favorite part about going to a real barber like I do in my hometown. The cost of what I got was 1.5 x what I pay at home and I got much less for it. I guess from now on I will get my hair cut before I leave town or wait until I get back.
