Having done several escape rooms, this one has been one of the best. The staff is very friendly. The rooms offer a great challenge. There are several rooms to choose from at varying levels. If you have kids, the LOL Comedy room is a great option. The moonshiner room is a great option if your more intermediate. And don't forget to snag your group photo with some props at the end!! read more

we had a great experience today in our escape room! We were able to book a room last minute and headed over with a party of three. My husband and I have done them before and my sister in law who was with us, had never done one. When we arrived there was a storm out and so they warned us before that if the electricity or anything went out not to be alarmed and it wouldn't affect our time. Nothing happened but they just gave us a heads up. We had fun and we did escape ! The only downside and why Iam not giving a 5 star rating is at the beginning and end of our event, we felt rushed and shoo'd out. read more

This place has excellent customer service. We came from out of town for an escape room marathon (we're enthusiasts with hundreds of rooms under our belt). We made a mistake in our booking time and could have totally been SOL on our tickets. They were kind enough to still let us play so we didn't waste our money over our silly mistake. We played Anubis which is a harder room. It had a great set design. A lot of details were put into that room. We didn't finish it because there were only two of us, but it was fun trying. Definitely bring a bigger group for that room. We'd go back and play more rooms there if we were not leaving so soon. Really solid company. We'll be back the next time we're in Florida! read more

We had an amazing time at Legends! We did the Moonshine room and found it fun and challenging. I cannot recommend this place enough!

So much fun! First timer for an escape room. Did Anubis first with friends, went to dinner, were so amped up, we came back and did the Wizard Challenge! Starr at the desk was great! read more

Super nice people working there and the themes are super cool. We one of the harder rooms and it was very difficult but super fun.

The most fun I've had in a long time. We did the Dungeon and it was both challenging and fun. I will definitely be back to try the other rooms!! read more

Not one to leave reviews(bad or good) but everything here was clearly taken into consideration. Top to bottom, this sets the bar for quality and experience in the industry. read more

My husband and I traveled about an hour and a half to get to this location because we'd heard good things and WOW WAS IT WORTH IT. We played three rooms - Wizard Challenge, Dungeon, and Moonshine. All three rooms were 10/10! The puzzles were all story driven and logical. The decor is out of this world. We really felt like the owners put a lot of effort into immersion. Even the sounds that the tv would make when giving clues were related to the story (every. little. detail.) The entrance doors to each room were beautifully decorated! The tech was awesome. The lobby was full of puzzles to get your mind working. Plenty of props for your post-game photos. The staff was incredible. We met the entire family and they chatted with us for quite sometime. We could tell that they love escape rooms and are just genuinely good people. The game masters answered our questions and walked us through the rooms afterwards with fun facts and details. We escaped all three rooms but really came down to the wire on two of them. It was just my husband and I playing and we are fairly experienced (50ish rooms completed), but even we asked for an extra clue here and there. Definitely don't be afraid to do that - the game masters are VERY responsive and helpful. There are so many puzzles, so having some extra hands would have been helpful, but we enjoyed ourselves immensely! I honestly can't recommend this venue enough. It's easily one of the BEST in the Tampa/Orlando areas!! We will definitely return to complete the remaining three rooms. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

We failed miserably!!!!! But had great fun! Lots of great planning was involved. We took the moonshine room Great service read more

We did the dungeon escape room a couple of months ago. It was pretty poorly designed, and the staff didn't reset the room properly prior to our visit. The magnet to get the last clue was behind a wall, and we couldn't even see it due to our heights. The staff admitted that it should have been on the visible side of the wall, and that someone just didn't do their job. We ran out of time due to this and we asked if we could pay extra to have more time to figure out the room, and the room wasn't even booked for the timeslot immediately after the one that we were booked for; the staff wouldn't let us just pay for more time regardless of that. It just seems like a huge cash grab, and like they're not actually focused on providing a good experience for their guests. Next time we want to go to an escape room, we're avoiding this place. read more

Our first experience in an escape room has us wanting to try again! They were friendly, specific and had a challenging room. Lol Comedy experience was just what my tween needed to get over her Covid birthday blues. It's not easy to entertain 2 teens and a preteen while keeping safe socially distanced. This was a perfect way to get their minds off of what they couldn't do and keep them busy. Plus, since we didn't solve the room we'll be back! Thanks Legends read more

Took a party of 6 for my son's birthday. We had two adults, two teens and two 'tweens. We did Club LOL. Booking online was easy. The person who explained the room and rules did so very well. The room was rated a three and we did manage to escape. We didn't use clues, although we were tempted during the last 15 minutes - but we made it. This was our second escape room experience, but our first at Legends. We will be coming back. read more

Moonshine cabin was great!! So realistic with log cabin walls and a brass still. The puzzles we solved were multi-layered and so fun. There was enough variety to engage everyone in our group. We had ages ranging from 11 to 51. It was Difficult but not too hard. We used some of our hints. The owners were very personable and gave great advice when picking which room would be best for us. We'll definitely be back!!!!The next room we want to escape from is Club LOL read more

Visited this place for the first time a few weeks ago during an ER trip to Florida. I accidentally booked one of their rooms for a week prior (oops!) and they were super nice and let us play the room anyways -- thank you for the great customer service, we appreciate it! read more

The detail to this escape room was awesome ; that's about it . It may have been a slow day however , here is our experience: When we arrived we were told that the entire building was open and we could choose a room . Unfortunately the staff working couldn't give a detail on the rooms , I think the young lady may have been new . We read the online overviews on their website, and picked one . After we decided on a room we were told they only run certain rooms at certain times so we would have to return , at that point we probably would have picked next available but we had our mind set on the one we picked as we were told they are all open . We left and returned an hour later , we were then told we could not have cell phones in the room ; I understand they want no video taping however , as parents of young children with a sitter we really needed to have our phones or at least one with us . Unfortunately since this was not allowed ( which is stupid because they have cameras in the room ) , we left them on loud and asked the attendant to listen for it in case the sitter called ; of course we missed a call and we were never advised . My husband and I have done escape rooms before and left with some sort of guidance or rooms that have flows . Our room lacked both . As I'm sure we came on a slow off day which was run by teenagers, for 65.00 for both of us we would hope for some sort of "experience " or entertainment both of which we didn't get. I don't think we will return . Im sure it's convenient on a rainy day and we may have gone on a slow teenage run day , however before trying this one check out some in Tampa that have been around longer and " mastered" the escape room for half the price . For the premium price I expect so much better. UPDATE ON REVIEW: the owner personally reached out today to address my concerns , he has extended a second chance to make our experience better . Update on cell policy, you can have your phone as long as it's on vibrate and you step out to answer it . I can appreciate the owners understanding on the importance of having a cell phone with small children and/or work related calls. Will update the post on our second experience. read more

We've done a lot of escape rooms, including ones in states outside of Florida. Legends has some of the best rooms we've ever played. We've done all of their rooms except Club LOL. Tonight we escaped from Wizard's Challenge...and loved it so much we took advantage of the $5/person discount to book a second room for the same night. We ate dinner and went back to do Revenge of Anubis...and we ESCAPED!! That room is rated a 5+ difficulty level. It was a great room with a ton to solve, and we did it with about 2 min left on the clock. The technicalities of the rooms are set up well and the props are well done. Great job, Legends!!! read more

Had a great time. Fun for the whole family... we did the "Harry Potter" room. (I think it's called the dragons or something). Lots of cool stuff. Place was clean and professional. read more

Best escape rooms we've been in by far! The atmosphere is great and really gets you into the moment! Can't wait to go back! They are very friendly and have a nice front lobby area to hang out in while you wait for your time to go in. 2 rooms down... 4 to go! read more

I love the rooms in this escape room. My friends and I have been a few times and each room was super cool and had great puzzles.

We went to Legends in March for my husband's birthday and had a blast. We reserved an entire room (LOL CLUB) since we had 8 people in our group. It was almost everyone's first time doing an escape room. We had so much fun and did escape with about 20 seconds to spare. Highly recommend it! read more

This was one of the better produced escape rooms in the area, still not as good as the Orlando attraction area, but top tier. As norm for all escape room companies, the max accomodation was 2 people too many for strangers. We did this with 8, and my wife hated it b/c of it. You can book private for ~15% more, but you need to book 4 minimum for this room and we are two. There was only one thing that wasn't clear with all the clues, and we failed the last puzzle b/c the lighting confused me on whether something was blue or green (and I'm a painter). None of this would keep me from rating it a 5 however, but at the end I didn't feel the rush I've felt at a handful of others. Maybe it was all the factors together. This room is a solid 4/5 (maybe 4.5), and should be tried. read more

None better! This escape room is definitely worth going to. Challenging and exciting down to the last clue. We did the moonshine cabin and would highly recommend this well-thought-out and challenging escape room read more

We had such a blast!!!! We had a group of 6 and it worked perfectly. Any more and it would've been crowded, any less and we would've had a hard time. Honestly I can't wait to come back. It was such a good time with friends read more

Best escape room we've ever been to. Great décor, great puzzles. Nothing cheap about this place.

Super fun, friendly and clean. This was a great experience for our entire family. We did the Wild West, which was a good challenge.

I went with a friend about two weeks ago. We didn't make an appointment, we just walked in to see what they had. When we walked in the owner greeted us and began telling us all about the place. She told us which rooms were her favorite, the difficulty levels of the rooms, and which rooms she thought we would like. She helped us find the right room. She also let us know about all of the escape rooms she's done over the years, and gave us a list of escape room companies in different cities that we could try. She was very knowledgeable and personable, even telling us that she's no good at escape rooms. The room that we did was the dungeon room, and it didn't disappoint. From the outside this place seems small, but our room had 4 separate rooms in it. It was huge! So many clues that weren't that difficult to find, but if we needed more help, we got it. Typically you get 3 clues before they start taking time away from you, but they don't here. You get as many clues as you want, and I appreciated that. I'm definitely coming back to try the other rooms. read more

What an outstanding place! The room was so well designed/decorated with high quality decorations and props. The moonshine room was really like a cabin in the woods! Everything was well maintained & realistic looking. We took our family of 4 adults & 4 kids last night. We had a blast! Blake was super friendly & helpful. The room was challenging but not impossible. We've visited other rooms that are no more than a couple of previously existing office-type rooms attached by a locked door. This was not the case here. it was well designed & exciting! We were 100% satisfied! No complaints, only praise. We loved it. The kids are asking to go back tonight! We will definitely return. Look no further! Highly recommended!! read more

My husband spent $60 for an hour and wow, was it a waste of money. This was our first time in an escape room, and we were never advised, except the day of, that most of the rooms are more advanced. We also thought we would be in a group; however, it was just the two of us since the place was empty, which made it more difficult. We were asked to watch a video, and then were given no guidance. We were also not told that there was another room otherwise we would've paced ourselves better. We finished one room, and to our amazement there was a second room. We asked the young lady for more time since this was clearly for more advanced players and/or for a group of people but she didn't budge even though no one was there. Also, for the money spent, they should make sure that their pencils are functioning to be able to do the puzzles. That being said, the props were very good. There are so many escape rooms in Tampa for 1/2 the cost so will definitely check those out. read more
