It's an unofficial local nexus for Fence Records, the small indie label started by a friend of mine over a decade ago, and chances are if you pop in here on a Friday afternoon you might just run into someone you know. Over the years the Ship has seen its share of music, and like any local pub worth anything it has a healthy cast of regulars who'll you'll find propping up a bar stool everyday. The nautical theme is par for the course in this seaside village, but there are loads of really neat historical shots framed and hanging on the walls that are worth checking out if you're ever in there. The hotel only has two rooms, a small bar, and two separate dining areas, with a beer garden outside. On our four day stay in one of the rented nearby cottages we where literally two minutes walk to the bar from the house, with three of the days we ended up here on most days at lunch time till close. Food is served at lunch times and the evenings and also we ate here three days out of four, and the food was pretty good serving the likes of Fish & chips, macaroni cheese and burgers to name a few. The bar area is small, and choice was limited, but I think this was due to the location, and locals didn't seem to go out drinking. Overall we had a great time here, and would recommend The Inn at Kingsbarns to anyone that was passing through or staying nearby.
