I offered to pay for time spent , they refused. They kept my entire payment. My advice would be to not be as trusting and in hindsight "stupid" for paying up front an entire bill. They asked to speak with Mr. Vasallo directly to help resolve what appeared to be a mistake. According to my insurance provider, he refused to speak with them unless they paid his $600 hourly rate. I personally went to his office on SW 8th Street believing this could be a simple misunderstanding that could be corrected. Instead, I was met outside in the parking lot and felt dismissed and embarrassed. Rather than explaining the issue or offering a solution, I was told not to return unless I was prepared to pay $600 for an hour of his time. My concern is not only that I paid $8,000 for documents that were determined to be incorrect, but that there was no willingness to explain the issue, correct the problem, or assist in resolving it without additional payment. I found the level of professionalism and client service extremely disappointing. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this attorney.
