Jenkins Ave, east of the OU Track and Field and OK Memorial Stadium, on the University of Oklahoma (OU) campus. Just west of the railroad tracks. Description: The OU Duck Pond inside Brandt Park runs the length of the park to the north and south on the western side. The park has numerous trees and a large grassy area, mostly on the eastern side. It's extremely peaceful and tranquil. There are a few benches close to the pond and a stone walking bridge across the pond. The pond has moss over a portion of it, making it look like an English countryside. The main attraction is, of course, the ducks and the pond. The ducks are sharing it with the geese, who at times can get out of hand; as one was running after two of it's own when they came onto land into his space. History: The Park was named after the sixth President of OU, Joseph August Brandt, who was the only alumnus to serve as President. There's wildlife to see such as squirrels and birds, and you can even see some turtles in the little stream. A lot of people like to go walking early in the morning because it's a lot cooler and I would agree with that. There's ample parking in multiple lots. There's also two dog parks one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. Everyone usually abides by all the dog rules, except I do notice dog poop along the walking trail sometimes and people are leaving it and not picking it up. Walking through the trees is really nice. There's a couple benches along the way so if you get tired, wanna sit down, you can do so. On the other side of the park near the swimming pool there are basketball courts and tennis courts. They have children's play areas as well.

I love that it's open for the community to have various team practices in the open fields. It's great that they have the walking trail and the exercise equipment. Bc there are zero foot holds, I was stuck on this hell rock for longer then necessary. Which reminded me of the time I Swifered myself into a corner without an escape plan. This must be what domesticated felines experience when they set foot outside for the first time. once they cross that threshold,separating them from the safety of indoor living, their sense of logic becomes impaired due, to a naturalistic predisposition to hunt prey. At this point they are then consumed by an uncontrollable urge to scale up something high, a strategy used to gain a better vantage point of the neighborhood. The house cat should not be faulted for this inherent behavioral trait, when it was evolution responsible for their inept prowessit comes to easily maneuver down a tree. They are just demonstrating similar practices thier ancestors, Anyways.. I never thought A casual walk through the park would turn into a rescue mission, but life is a journey ‍

Easy parking, you will see the occasional runner or biker here depending on when you come. I did see a group run also! Along with the river, you do get some good views of the OKC skyline here!!

I mean, who wouldn't want to go fast without having to zig-zag in between runners, families or other bikes? The trail is well paved with the occasional slight gravel, which is totally avoidable. The path is somewhat like a large 13 mile oval shape, without any street crossings or stop signs. This would be a perfect spot to train for races. I would not recommend bringing your families on the trail just because road bikers are going fairly fast. Wouldn't want a little one stumbling in front of a bike going 20-30 miles a hour. For the sake of runners, the unseen corners are well marked with caution signs and there are two lanes to avoid collision. Overall it's a beautiful spot, there are geese and some other water fowl and the sun hits the river perfectly. There's a moment where you are riding beside a view of the city as well as the beautiful trail. This is probably the least congested biking trail I've been to in Oklahoma City. I would recommend starting at/ parking at Devon Boathouse at Regatta Park. There's also additional parking across the street. I could see this place being a good spot for group bikers as well, it's not far from Bricktown if you want to ride into the city a little bit to grab a bite to eat.

They have added many different memorials to this park each with their own markers. There are plenty of areas to walk or sit in the shade. They have it fixed up very nice and is the center for Veterans and Memorial Day activities.

There's a walking path, playgrounds, frisbee area, places to sit down and nice bridge over the water to walk. If you're a dog owner, be aware that not all dogs are on a leash. Other visitors let their dogs run all over the place with no concern for other people, other dogs, or kids.

Ted Reynolds Park is a public park managed by OKC Parks and Recreation. It honors Ted Reynolds, a prominent local figure in American Legion baseball who passed away in 1986. Reynolds was known for his contributions to youth baseball, including serving as president of the Central Oklahoma American Legion League and hosting the Oklahoma City Invitational tournament at Municipal Park. The park features a dedicated baseball/softball field.
