Not only are they dishonest and untrustworthy, the management and ownership here is appalingly unprofessional. Our house failed a state inspection 3 times, they took from October-December to set our HVAC unit doing below freezing days, our electrical was miswired and the 3 contractors they hired to work in our home, 2 of the 3 had never worked on homes at all and the ome that had, they hadn't paid him for 6 months. It's 2 years later I NEVER received the punchlist cosmetic items I was promised and now have had to file insurance claims against the faulty roof and house assembly on our property. Please PLEASE DO NOT let them coerce you into going with this company. Go to literally ANY OTHER manufactured home dealer, and please do your research by looking into their failed inspections with the State of Texas & their reputation with the Better Business Bureau. The staff are abysmally unprofessional and the management prides themselves with saving a buck and doing wrong by their customers contractors and company. They get to use Legacy Housing As a name but they are JUST a dealer. DO NOT TRUST your next 15-30yrs to these people. Please trust me. It has been ine horrible nightmare over another. Odds are your being lied to they told us they was waiting on the loan company 21st. almost 2 weeks later i called 21st. They said legacy never called them or submitted anything to them. But legacy toll us we was denied by 21st and we need to try doing the in-house financing bad lie...if you do want a refund don't forget to send them an email asking for it. regardless of what they say send the email anyways and get proof also you will need proof that you made a payment (keep your receipt). we had a 15 day dead line to ask for the money back. keep that in mind and good luck read more

TERRIBLE! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! MY daughter bought a tiny home right at a year ago now. We never received steps, still do not have skirting, and they have not completed repairs (water damage from it raining when they delivered it, no toilet tank cover, etc). It took months to get an ac (it was July of this year)! In addition, it took over 3 months for my plumber to get paid and I'm still not sure my electrician ever received payment! They pushed me to use their guy for repairs, electric, and plumbing because he was cheaper, but I did some digging and he isn't even licensed!! If I could give them a 0 I would! They dodge calls, lie to their customers and you get the run around. Please read their reviews and stay away!! If you are looking for a mobile home, try Crazy Red's in Ponder! August 2019. I drive by this location daily to go drop off online orders to the post office. I am also a realtor. I myself am looking to do some really cool things and I have a client also looking. I went in. I was bubbly and happy about my venture and I had a lot of questions because my client needs a loan that includes land. I also wanted to find out if they could do small more like tony homes. The lady who greeted me at the door (brown hair 280# ish) was nice at first and said she could answer my questions. We went into a room on the left and I got my notepad out and I told her who I was and what my client and I were looking for. As I am talking and asking questions, her rolling eyes, horrible body language of irritation bothered me so much. I fat out asked her "are you upset?" "Did I upset you"?? She flat out was like "we don't need a realtor. I said. I am here to possibly buy something and just because I said I was a realtor doesn't mean I'm not a client. She was extremely disrespectful until I just said, you don't seem to be or want to be helpful. She again rolls her eyes she says basically you fee her shooing you out the door. So I did just that. Disgusted by the unprofessionalism. They will never have my business. I still think back to her and you know you sit and wonder why? If I could give them 0 stars I would. RUN FROM THIS PLACE! Trying to buy a house from them was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had period. I came to them as a cash buyer, with pre-approval for 100+ thousand dollars. At one point the manager said to me that I needed to take my business elsewhere. All because I stressed the need for a quote from them that entailed a pricing breakdown of exactly what I was paying for. If I am going to buy a home, a car, or any large purchase for that matter, from a business, I expect to know where my money is going and I don't think it is too much ask for complete transparency. From the beginning I felt this company was only worried about trying to get me to finance the home through them, even though my loan officer had already agreed to wiring payment before delivery, which is, per my loan officer, highly unusual. It was like asking these people to do push-ups to get any information out of them. I feel like they do not know how to talk to people, from the get go the salesperson was difficult to work with. It seemed like every conversation that took place, there was some kind of mis-understanding. I initially came to them this past Thursday, left without a quote, was promised one on Friday, and everyday after but it wasn't until yesterday that they would even give me a price, and it was given verbally, so nothing I could actually take to my bank, and it was after close of business after I stressed to them that I wanted to get the information to my loan officer before he left for the day. I have never in my life experienced such a poor way of handling business. There is definitely something shady about this company, every other mobile home dealer I have talked to has price breakdowns. In fact, they are usually posted on the refrigerators in the houses as you walk through them. I can't help but feel like this company was trying to hide something by not being forthcoming about their pricing. Save yourself the headache and frustration. Don't even consider this company. We ordered a special-order home in March and gave them a $1,000.00 deposit at the time. It was ordered from their Heritage Housing dealer in Canton, TX. The home came in with upgraded appliances we did not order, at an upgraded cost of course. It also came with a black microwave and the rest of the appliances are stainless steel. To our surprise, they wanted us to accept the home with mix-matched appliances and close quickly. To our continued surprise, they refused to at least swap out the microwave so that everything would match. They chose to lose a sale over this. We refused to close based on the state rules laid out by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) who regulates the manufactured home industry in Texas. Their rules state that if a special-order home does not conform to the special-order and this is not disclosed to the consumer and they then refuse to accept the special-order home, then the deposit should be refunded. Well, you've guessed it, the manager at the location is refusing to refund our deposit. I have since filed complaints with the BBB and the TDHCA and I'm awaiting a resolution. Buyer beware!
