They were greeted like an old friend, and treated more like one of the boys! For one of my bonus sons, getting a cut at a place that feels like home is a big deal! He is autistic and has many fears! They how ever were not there and didn't service the whole time we were there! He went in looking like George Jefferson and came out looking all Rico Suave gq smooth! He held his head extra high the whole day after we left! I'd like to thank Nate for that! Now onto my white son who insists on fades that not a lot of shops do around this area! But chips, yeah they do that! They do all that and some! They even have other services other than just hair needs! Beyond the shop, Which is conveniently located at the rear of the barber shop, is a teeth whitening service! That's really kind of cool if u ask me! While there I asked about services for females! Being that I'm a black woman, with adventurous hair needs and wants I had to see what they had! And of course once again I was not disappointed! From braiding, & color to perms, they got the hook up for the ladies too! Let's talk booking an appt! It's super easy, Simply go on fb or book @ chipsbarbershop.com ! You can see all the services and prices before even booking! It's a super organized layout! Which I appreciate when booking services online! I must say...it's about damn time this town has REAL barber shop with services for all ethnicities!! We will be back for services every-time we visit this town!

After 10 minutes I asked if I had to sign in or something. Had my hair cut and colored. Color turned out great but the cut was not what I had asked for. I showed a picture and shared that I would like for it to be all one length. For some reason the hair dresser cut the two sides by my face shorter then the rest of my hair. When I asked her why they were chunking and sticking out she replied that she could fix it. After she was done, she stated "well if you don't like it you will have to let it grow out." A week later I called back to see if someone else could fix it, as to which I was told that I would have to go back to the same person. I stated that she tried to fix it and shared what the hair dresser told me in regards to you will have to let it grow out. That clearly tells me she cannot fix it, so why would I go back to her. Very upsetting and now will have to pay for someone else to fix it. Definitely would not recommend this place at all.
