New owner does not deserve a dime of your money…read more I'm 64 and have been going here since I moved to Eau Claire a few years ago. Today, I used the online app and timed my arrival based on the wait time. They were behind. Why? The new owner was keeping his two stylists captive speaking in a booming voice inappropriate for the size of the shop. It was apparent that he thoroughly enjoyed the sound of his own voice. He spewed on and on about himself and how "there are going to be changes, but good changes." Not once did he look to see if there were agitated (and shaggy) customers. There were two of us: an elderly gentleman and me. I was on the list before him, yet when one of the stylists escaped, she called HIS name and mine had disappeared from the board. I approached the desk and informed the stylists and their self-important new potentate of the error. She muttered something and said that I would be next and it was meeting day with the new owner. No apology. I looked at her and the vainglorious fellow and told her that it was obvious this chump knew nothing about owning a business. Then left. I'll not be back. He could have stepped around the corner, seen us, and proudly pronounced himself the new owner. He could then have apologized for monopolizing his stylists and delaying our beautification. He could have said, "Hey! Glad you're here. This cut's on me!!!" THAT'S a small business owner. The stylists are great and I love them, but this display of disrespect and abominable customer service leads me to find a new shop. Good luck, ladies.
